Customer service is a bit lacking. I broke my heel for work the night before so I went to get a new pair so I could go to work in a couple hours. It took at least 35 minutes of walking around with 4 pairs of heel and grabbing from top shelves over 2 feet above my head before I was even able to ask an associate that wasnt too busy talking to another employee or gawking over guys for help. When asked if a pair of shoes that were on the sale rack were on sale (they were everywhere else, seeing as they were last season) I was given a rude "No, they are new this year..." Employee was annoyed that I had asked if there was a pair in box that werent on shelf. I asked what the difference between two different shoes that had the same brand and look and they had no idea, they tried to google it but didnt ever give an answer. After paying at check out she asked if I wanted to save 20%, after realizing it was going to take way too long I told her I was in a hurry and had to get to work she seemed even more annoyed saying, "Okay, I was just trying to save you money..." with a rude tone. If I didnt have to have the shoes and be at work I would have left. I definitely wouldnt recommend.

Bad customer service by the gay guy that works at the mac counter. He was very unprofessional and did not greet us when we approached counter. He rushed off to start applying makeup for the white lady and told my mom who was there first to start applying her own makeup in a tiny mirror standing up. I hate the customer service in nc. Prejudice still exist and in NC even more. There were to more black ladies there and he did not bother to ask them if they needed any help. Is not my money green like others…

I have shopped at this location for 3 1/2 years and service has been okay. When we lived in Raleigh the service was excellent. I applied for a job and was told to come see Olga for an interview. She told me I was to old to represent a product line. This is sad to me. The Mayfaire location has provided better service. I just hated the traffic but after the treatment I received I will be driving. I refuse to help or purchase items from a store that disrespects people.

Ive been to this location twice now and have attempted to get shoes for my wife and I. Unfortunately, it appears that whomever is in charge of the scheduling isnt connected with the actual traffic patterns of the store. The employees covering both departments are swamped and unable to reach a lot of their customers. Its costing them sales on their busiest time of year.

Im cutting up my Belk credit card right after this review. Sales are false. Cant use coupon on anything. One of the salespeople even said, "They send the coupons just to get you into the store." Clothes and goods are medium quality. I MISS MACYS!! I could use my coupons on everything and the quality of the stores was better. . .Belk, never again. .

There are no doors on the dressing rooms. Only a curtain and no way to secure it closed. I was very uncomfortable.
