We have a beach house on Oak Island, The salt air, renters and hurricanes all conspire to necessitate frequent trips to repair screen doors, and BBQs and the like. Over the past 4 years we have found Stewarts Hardware to be friendly and knowledgeable for issues big and small. One day I bought a Weber Performer BBQ grill on sale - only to discover that my minivan was too small to drive it home. They said they would deliver the Weber BBQ to the beach house in the next day or two. I ran one errand on the way home, and the Weber was set up in the back by the time I got home. No charge. I call that great service. Daniel

Went there at 7am so there wouldnt be a crowd. Found the tree we wanted but the cashier couldnt ring it up without a manager, who would be in soon. They took my name and number but never called me back. Then they had the gall to call me disrespectful because I complained about not hearing back and no one knows anything about the message I left. Yeah, I went back and bought the tree because my wife had already picked it out. I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN AND HOPE MORE PEOPLE DO THE SAME.

This place has everything! They have more knowledge about pools and spas than anyone in the area and their prices on covers and supplies are better than Lowes or anywhere else! And check out their wonderful garden shop.

Friendly, but way over priced on the propane cylinders. You may as well go to Lowes and trade it in. The price per gallon for twenty pound cylinder is close to $4.00 a lb or more. Its only $2.09 a lb at tractor supply .
