Ready to order Behr Alkyd paint online to pick up at the store and realize my color choice is not available. Ok, lets choose another thats available and use the handy dandy 60 paint chip card to compare. Hmmmm, the color is not there. I choose another. Not on the card. Then another. Again, not on the card that I picked up from the paint department. No sample paint to purchase either. This location and all surrounding Wake County Home Depots dont carry Alkyd paint. The closest is 75 MILES AWAY in GREENSBORO! Paint department was absolutely no help so heck I called Behr. Their rep advises me to call HD Special Services dept and ask them to special/custom order the paint since no one around carries it. NOPE! No help there because they arent going to do that for just ONE customer. Suggests I drive the 75 miles! I guess your customers are not worth the hassle. I asked if I had an expired paint card,or how am I able to get an updated one with all available colors. Again she stated she was not going to order many paint cards because 1 customer wants one. Well genius, someone else will eventually ask if it says its available to purchase. 2 reps at the 800 # and manager in Greensboro said a transfer from store to store was possible, but Raleigh would have to initiate. Welp again, Raleigh shot that down! Long,frustrating story short, Bodie and his manager at the HD in Greensboro quickly resolved the situation. Theyre sending the doggone paint via UPS! Its sad that your HOME store 3 miles ways is unwilling to take initiative and quick to no.

Every time Ive ever been to this store, its to see if they might have something that Lowes would have to special order. And each time Ive tried to find anything here, the staff has been unhelpful and ill-informed about what Im looking for. After an Internet search suggested we could order the cabinets were looking for easier than at Lowes, we go here only to wait in the kitchen section for 10 minutes while the employees are busy with others. When asked what we were waiting for, we are told only one person can order cabinets, and shes not back until Monday. ? This is because the three people in the kitchen and appliance section are not trained to use the cabinet ordering system. I get everyone cant do everything, but if thats part of your department, shouldnt you be able to order it or help with information? I highly recommend going to Lowes, which is right up the road.

I needed a fitting for a PUR water filter. Scottie saw me looking and asked to help. She took me straight to it, tested it to fit the parts I brought in and it worked perfectly once I got it home. It wasnt the part I saw online, yet it was an aftermarket part that wasnt even on my radar, so she really cut down my shopping time greatly and I probably would have left without purchasing anything. Thats knowledge that comes from helping a lot of people. Ive seen Scottie searching for customers to help on previous trips. In a world of big box stores with employees that seem do their best to avoid you, Scottie is a keeper. Those other employees are the ones who often dont know how to help you from lack of experience. Well done Scottie, keep up the good work!

I arrived at 5:55 PM on Easter Sunday to find a sign on the door which read "Closing at 6 for Easter"... And thats fine, but they rushed me out of the store, were rude about it, and told me their web site showed they were closing early. Umm, NO, it did not. The web site did in fact say 8 PM as the closing time, not 6 PM, which is why I decided to make a trip there in the first place. Come on Home Depot, dont you know people use the internet? Very irritated by their treatment.

This location is very inconvinent. If you miss the front entrance off Capital Blvd. you get taken into Westgate Preowned and theres no alternate entrance from that parking lot. Came in for a new hard hat, wire nuts and copper crimp rings. Found my desired items but was checked out by a pissed off black woman, which is the last thing I want to deal with before a long work day. Do your self a favor; drive 200 yards down Capital and go to Lowes.

At first I thought the multiple people saying its easy to miss the entrance were stupid... Yet here I am, regularly coming to this location for six months, sitting at the stoplight at New Hope so I can do two u-turns to get into the single entrance for Home Depot. Its dark and been raining all day, and their sign is well past the entrance. Employees are always nice here but this entrance makes it a huge pain in the butt.

The selection at this store is rather limited. The store itself is small, which leads to a smaller inventory and less product than youd expect at a Home Depot. Getting to this one, generally requires passing the Lowes which is essentially next door and has a better selection of materials. I will go to this Home Depot to buy Ryobi tools, as theyre good quality (especially for non-pros) and great pricing.

Wow, I can not imagine two less trained folks coming to install a new washer. Spilled water everywhere, wore their muddy shoes all upstairs, left grass stains & mud stains in the carpet...job well done. This was my first experience with "free delivery", I can see why its free.

i get stuff from here all the time for the job site and the people here are a real big help finding me the stuff i need so i can get back to the job real quick. i am not a big computer guy, but i made sure to write a good word for this home depot location when i got online.

Finding Help At Home Depot is next to Impossible. Its like going on an Easter egg hunt to try to find somebody to help you. At least Lowes hardware has staff around that you can find to help you. The prices at Home Depot are not that much better to make it worth the hassle.

This visit is my first in 7 years. I am giving a 3 star only because it is one visit. Pricing tags were a little confusing, but attendant was quick to help when we asked. The store was clean and staff was cheerful and helpful. Pleasant trip all in all.

Nice store. Clean. Adequate selection on the appliances for which we were looking. Because it was a Saturday, there was a wait to see a sales associate. Prices seemed very competitive.

Dont go here if you are looking for anything they wont have it! How does a hardware store not carry npt taps? This is a common item that every hardware store normally sells.
