Of the craft stores in town, this is the better one. The staff is friendlier than the ones in the Hobby Lobby in the same plaza- theyll help you track down coupons on your smartphone and dont seem to mind typing them if they wont scan. I also like that they seem to have a good grasp of their sales and coupons. I brought one in wondering if I could use it on a specific brand of fabric, and while I couldnt they pointed out that there would be a sale in a week if I could wait. Very useful. Their paint selection is a little limited, but its a fabric store mostly so Im fine with that. Also, unlike some craft stores Ive never had an issue with my service dog here. One employee even headed off a woman who was telling her kid to come ask to pet him by pointing out that service dogs usually cant be petted at work. Wow! Thats a rare thing. The aisles are big, easy to navigate, and the bathroom was clean and stocked. Also the fabric is almost always neat, which tells me they tidy a lot because man is that hard to keep up.

Overall a great experience. I was looking specifically for fleece and flannel to make pouches for our sugar gliders, and I found both on sale. Two different fleeces (one in the remnant bin), and two different flannels, enough of each to make more than what I needed. I also found some jelly roll strips for quilting and a couple other small items. There was a bit of a wait at the cutting table, and the take a number thing was empty, so I just hoped the girl would remember who was first, etc. She did. I get to the register expecting to spend a TON of $ and it was less thanI expected. My only negative was the brief wait, and it truly was brief.

I completely understand the bad reviews about this place. Im actually a former employee. I had worked there for about 3 months, and then I quit. I completely agree with the comments about the employees slowness and their attitudes. My best advice for people that put reviews about the store and that have had a bad experience, call the corporate office. Theres a couple of people that I worked with, who STILL work there that I personally dont care for. Worst place to shop at anf definitely the worst place to work.

I so hope this store improves. I went in to check for terrarium supplies about a year ago and was shocked at the conditions of uncleanliness and disorganization in a store bearing a national brand. It looked like it had been "disowned" by corporate. The bathroom, which says so much about how a store values its customers, reminded me of those run down gas stations we have all had to visit as last resorts on road trips!

Absolutely the 2nd worst customer service Ive ever experienced! Long line & not enough cashiers! (s/n: Its Sunday people! Hobby Lobby is closed so crafters & others only have the option of a few stores so schedule enough staff!) And the ones working the registers were slower than molasses & completely lost on how to process a simple refund!

I love going to JoAnn Fabrics and Crafts. They carry a wide variety of dressmaker fabrics, as well as well as upholstery fabrics. They have all makes and models of sewing and embroidery machine, as well as patterns, thread, needles, etc. Whatever you need to get your project together, you can find it here.

Joanns is ok and considering hancocks is gone it is all we have, but you can never find an associate to help you!! There seems to only be 3 people there at a time. One at the register, one at the cutting counter, and another one hiding from customers!!

They do not have enough help (sales associates) on the floor to help with questions. The store seems very desolate. Remodeling is recommended and a few more staff members as well.

Kinda hit or miss. Customer service tends to fluctuate. They also seem to have randomly stopped carrying a fabric my wife often needs. Prices arent usually very good. Last resort.
