Staff was friendly and efficient! I went to this store in search of napkins for my wedding. We had planned to shop another location, but went too late and that store owner said they wouldnt get the order in time for my wedding. While the printing available was limited due to the time constraint, Im incredibly happy with what we got. Price was about average ($90 for 300 napkins), but the service was great. While I did have to wait a bit for it (all three women upstairs were busy with other customers when I arrived), they were very helpful when they got to me. Not only that, but after telling them I would need the napkins by Saturday (this was on Wednesday), they assured me the napkins would be ready on time. They called with the finished product the next day and I had the napkins well on time. :) Very pleased and I look forward to going back.

I initially visited the Buttercup because a friend of mine recommended them for wedding menu cards and programs. As soon as my mother and I entered the shop, we were warmly greeted and the staff made us to feel extremely welcomed. The ladies upstairs in the stationery department were extremely helpful and willing to answer my multitude of questions! I ordered menu cards for my wedding, and I can not express how great they turned out! My guests are going to be so impressed! I also ordered wedding programs and Caroline was so patient and helpful in making sure that the programs turned out exactly how I envisioned. I would definitely recommend the Buttercup to anyone with any stationery needs! They are very friendly and helpful, and made the stress of wedding planning a little more bearable!

Wedding invitations are suppose to be a fun part of your wedding, so far Buttercup has made this one of the worst moments for me. They probably have the WORST customer service there. Its like they intentionally went out of their way to do a poor job. I felt like they just didnt care. They didnt have any stock and acted like it would be an imposition to order more for me. Its a shame too because its a cute shop. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

While the merchandise is adorable, the customer service is terrible. I am never greeted when I come in the store, nor does anyone ask if they can help me. When I leave no one says "good bye." If it were not for their cute gifts, I would never go there again. In fact, I limit my trips to this store for this reason. It is a shame, as this store has so much potential to be a pleasant shopping stop!

Ella from Lion in the Sun was an incredible pleasure to work with.She worked at the speed of light and was highly responsive,she was creative and detail-oriented, and, perhaps most importantly, you could just see her smile through her emails.Our printed materials are one of our favorite things about the wedding and we have Lion in the Sun to thank! Highly, highly recommend.

I have purchased several invitations as well as stationary at the buttercup. While the selection of invitations and stationary can be overwhelming, at the end of the day they have everything. As for the customer service, it has always been excellent. I often take my son in the store with me and I never walk out without several conversations with the staff.

They have the best products in Charlotte. If you do not ask for help, none will be given. They do not greet you when entering the store but there are at least 5 people downstairs in a small store.
