If you are in search for an awesome tattoo shop, and wanting that perfect tattoo, look no further. AAcross The Skin Tattoo shop at 996-D Patton Avenue, Behind the Sprint Store next to Wendys, is the best tattoo shop ever. My daughter Nicole, just turn 18 this year and she wanted us to go together to get a tattoo. We looked at several tattoo shops in Asheville, but when we found ATS (Aacross The Skin), our search was over. The Artist / Owner Brandon, created a custom tribal on my left arm. I had a idea of what I wanted, but he took that and free handed it on paper...IT LOOKS AWESOME. My daughter had her first tattoo from Haley. My daughter had her art work, but Haley put her touch to it and it looks Awesome. This shop advertises that it is CLEAN, STERILE and NICE and you can believe it. I can honestly say, this is the best tattoo shop in Asheville. All the staff is very Friendly and nice. I told Brandon the owner, you do not have to be a FREAK, like some other shops, to be a great Tattoo Artist and the staff at Aacross the Skin is no where near that. You will fill very welcome and comfortable with Brandon and his staff at Aacross the Skin Tattoo shop. Thank you Brandon and Haley for awesome tattoos, we will defiantly be back for more... Anyone thinking about getting a tattoo should look no further than Across the skin tattoos. I looked at many shops over a week period and after feeling like i didnt belong or was not good enough for their business, i read about this place. so glad i did, what a warm welcoming place, everyone is super friendly and very down to earth. I am a father of 3 and would not hesitate to bring my children here!! Brandon did my forearm and was very professional and kind. He worked with me on the design and altered it until i was happy. He has a light touch and would recommend first timers request him. We had a few good laughs and conversation, definitely will be coming back for the rest of my ink, and my wifes first tattoo. Also should be noted that Brandons place is very clean, he was even checking his needles with a microscope in case of imperfections!! wow. Awesome place cant say enough good things about them!! good day all

all the negative things said about this place are just written by someone angry with the business and are completely false. out of all the tat places that Ive been to in asheville, this is by far the cleanest. also, the staff were extremely pleasant. when I decided to get my tattoo here, Brandon was exceptionally great with drawing up a beautiful design from some pictures I had brought, and the tattoo itself came out absolutely perfect and detailed. before he tattooed me, he checked all of the needles with a magnifying glass to find any imperfections. the entire process was friendly and sanitary, and the tattoo came out amazingly. this is some of the best work youll be able to find in asheville or western north carolina, and Brandon is a great guy who will make your experience pleasant.

These guys are awesome! I have been there numerous times for tattoos and piercings and have brought in 4 new customers from my circle of friends and family. Brandon is a very talented artist ( and Im extremely critical) that is just laid back enough to put you at ease where you feel comfortable enough to talk to him or just sit back and let him do his thing. His pro folio is awesome and he proves it everytime. Cass is also amazing. I can honestly say that she is probably the cleanest piercers Ive ever meet and one of the most knowledgeable as well. They take care of their customers long after the job is done. The pricing is great and the quality of the work is excellent. I have recommended Across The Skin to many people and well continue to do so.

I have to say that Haley is nothing short of amazing. My friend and I went on a whim to get similar tattoos together, and the customer service that wee received was outstanding. After going to a couple of other shops and being looked at like we werent worthy of service, it was refreshing to walk in and be greeted instantly and with a smile. The tattoos we got were custom designed for us through a drawing that we had brought in, and they look amazing. Just as important to me was the feeling like I had known these people my whole life. They were great!! Haley even agreed to do the tats even though it would mean closing 3 hours later than business hours. I cant say it enough, if you want a tattoo...GO HERE!!!

If anyone is looking to get a tattoo done then look know further because this is the place to go to! I just had Brandon do a cover up of a tattoo and what an incredible job! What an incredible group of people that are artist there to they were all so nice and a very clean place to go! I loved the environment it was just like i was sitting around talking to people i had knew for years and I will definitely when i have my next tattoo done this is the only place i will go and Brandon what a great tattoo artist i owe him all the thanks in the world! I picked a tattoo out of his portfolio and let him go with it and it turned out to be a masterpiece! GREAT JOB BRANDON AND THANK YOU!

The place is a little harder to find since its located behind the Metro PCS store. Its smaller but clean and open (except for the actual artists spaces). Went in and was immediately greeted for a free consultation by Carlos, who patiently listened to my idea for my next piece. We were able to schedule an appointment in the next 2 days. On appointment day, the piece he showed me wasnt what I went in thinking of, but was better and made more sense. The final art is beautifully done and I am beyond thrilled with it!!!!!! Carlos is amazing. He has great humor and is incredibly talented. Will definitely be going back for my future inkwork!

I got a tattoo about a year ago so I figured it was about time for another. I didnt want to go back to the same place, so I went online to search tattoo shops. I read the reviews of AAcross the Skin and thought Id check it out. Im very glad I did. I had an idea of what I wanted and Brandon did an awesome job translating my idea into an beautiful tattoo. The price was very reasonable and the shop is very clean. I am going to go back and have Brandon fix my first tattoo as well as when I get my next one. I would highly recommend anyone looking to get a tattoo to get one from Aacross the Skin.

Been looking all day for an excellent place to get my tattoo done at and I so happened to walk into the BEST shop in Asheville! Brandon did an outstanding job on my realistic roses on my shoulder/arm. Everyone was really nice and you really get a good vibe from the place. Good consulting and great prices. I felt at ease the whole 3 1/2 hours sitting in the chair having great conversations with everyone. I will be going back to Brandon (or anyone their for that matter) for all my future tattoo. Great shop, Great people, one AWESOME time and experience. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
