I am not a fan of this store. In general, I do not care the big mainstream supermarkets. Way too much crap to have to navigate around, and much of the fresh items can be found with better quality, for less money. In essence, its a massive specialty store for me. Things I buy: Barilla pasta (only when on sale for 99¢ / lb or less; sometimes it goes as low as 88¢. Ill usually 10-20 lbs to last until the next sale. Canned tomatoes. Same as the pasta. I wait for the big sale for 99¢ / 28 oz can, then stock up. Cantaloupes Haas avocados Kind Bars Meatloaf mix Ground pork Ground veal Boars Head cold cuts Cucumbers Organic grapes (on the rare occasion they have them) Ice cream Things I avoid: Cheese (e.g. Romano, Parmesan, Brie, etc. Chicken (Trader Joes organic is often less than their non-organic) Bags of ice (Its actually less at Whole Foods Anything from their bakery. Their parking lot is simply chaos. People park pretty much anywhere they want. Very symbolic of the stores management abilities, not to mention a pain to deal with. Lastly, and this is not their fault, but the traffic light on Westchester Avenue, is insane. Only lets 3 cars go through per cycle, tops. If theres a line, it can be 5+ minutes to get out. Quicker to turn around and go out the other exit.

I was robbed here , on Wednesday 7th Jan 2015 , I was robbed here by the store staff , I had 10,000usd wanted to use western union , the employee (a stop and shop staff ) transferred the money by mistake to different country against my form which was signed to the distination I want. I couldnt get my money back after several trials and millions of phone calls , I have recorded most of the phone calls and Ill take this to court , western union have Tue documentation requesting stop and shop to refund me but stop and shop robbed my money maybe the ppl w/o are working there are good as human beings but the store as all robbed me and I wont ever even thinking coming back here for a tooth brush #stopandshop @stopandshop @whiteplains #whiteplains

I had to stop by there for a few items and was in a hurry. A tall younger man named Clyde assisted me and was both professional and a joy to talk to. He made sure I had everything I needed and thanked me for shopping there. I would send him a personal thank you card if I had his full name and address. Thanks for hiring people like him, next time Iam in town Ill shop there and find him to say hello.

I love this place because its open really late. I get going really late, and I work from home so my schedule is all over the place. Also I love smoking a joint before I go, and walking through the empty aisles is incredibly therapeutic. Im high right now... Im about to head out to Stop & Shop now actually.

Possibly the worst grocery store in the area. Parking is a nightmare regardless of when you go. The place is filthy (bathrooms look worse than any gas station Ive ever seen). Staff is unhelpful. And they recently cut the produce section in half, adding room for more processed foods. Go somewhere else.

Worst supermarket ever! Overpriced goods and insane parking staff who acts like robber. They accused customer without any evidence and charged you as much as they wanted otherwise your car would be towed away. Would never come back again though I used to be loyal customer.

Okay for a quick stop, but not for regular grocery shopping . The ShopRite in downtown White Plains is cleaner, cheaper, and better stocked. Good thing about this shop is free parking right across the Westchester mall.

Omg, parking is violent, female impatient drivers speed throughout without regard. Watched a elderly women drive into the back of a car at the redlight. Warning, DO NOT WALK WITH DISTRACTED CHILDREN
