So this Bravo is a step up from other Bravos. Its a bit cleaner and brighter looking. They also carry some nice items as compared to other Bravos. But had to give this one star because of my experience today. I rounded up my groceries and went to pay with my credit card. The young lady asks me to provide id for my credit card. I said I do not have id. She then calls her supervisor and they confirm i need to show id. Now I am also a visa vendor and I know for a fact that you may ask for id but you cannot make this the determining factor of the purchase. THEY CANNOT DENY YOU SERVICE FOR NO ID! Now I know what you must be thinking, its not a big deal. But since when do we empower supermarket cashiers to the rank of police officers? Also think I am a dark skinned dominican, do you think if an older white lady missed her id and wanted to pay with credit card they would hassle her? If credit card fraud is a problem at your store then you need to find better solutions, your solution cant be to assume everyone is a credit card fraud. I asked to speak to the supervisor about this. He didnt know english and wasnt familiar with the Visa policy I was telling him. He just shook his head. I decided to pay with my debit card which at this place doesnt require id (LOL) just cause I wanted to go home and eat my food. This is also the second time this happened to me here. This credit card with id only policy is disgusting. Doesnt belong in Washington Heights. I filed a complaint with Visa and plan on following up. If this happens to you anywhere I suggest you do the same. Visa is providing them a service, they dont want their service used to discriminate.

One of the worst grocers in the grocery/market sector. The items that are in the paper arent on the shelves. If they happen to be, by the time you are at the register, it is a totally different price. You often see that the sales tags are ripped off and sometimes only after it has been brought to the attention of the staff and you arent willing to pay full price for it. ALWAYS check your receipt thoroughly before leaving the store. They may "forget" to give you your receipt so please do make sure you have it on your person before leaving the store because they will not FORGET to ask for that when you come back with the items. Not the most considerate staff at all.

The side bakery has awesome pastry. The store is neat and organised...most if not all goods have price tags and the prices are well affordable. theres always weekly price reduction in some goods. Great place to shop but aisles are quite small and some goods lay on the way due to small space.

Best grocery store in the neighborhood! Very clean and organized. Staff is unusually friendly. They carry more organic, health conscious, speciality and high quality products than other stores in the area.

My favorite neighborhood market. Really nice people, very helpful. Delicious octopus meat (wild) $5 a lb.! And beautiful fruits and veggies, much lower prices than Key Food, which sucks!

A small store with a good variety of staples and good prices on most items including produce. Very limited meat and fish options, mostly frozen meats/fish.
