Awful, absolutely the worst. Especially the pharmacy department. I was trying to fill a prescription today from out of state (Im visiting family at the moment) and the person at the counter waited 20 minutes to tell me that they couldnt fill my prescription because "someone in Connecticut filled it earlier today, and it sold." I havent been to CN in over 10 years, so this scared me and sent me into a horrific panic attack...And in the end it was because they werent READING THE COMPUTERS INFORMATION CORRECTLY! Yep, they cant even read and understand their own computer programs, which are VITAL to any large-scale pharmacy! Talk about DANGEROUS!!!!! Aside from that, half of their pharmacy staff fumbles dangerously through English (I had to use that rite aid once before, and the last time I was there the only people in the pharmacy couldnt understand what I was speaking, nor could I understand them...it was terrible!) Also, just to let you know, most RiteAids (at least not where Im from) are NOT like this, and Ive NEVER been to one as horrible as this one. DO NOT GO HERE! The staff are RUDE and unhelpful and the pharmacy department has dangerous practices.

After living in Manhattan for years and not caring for the Rite Aid that was in my neighborhood (unhelpful pharmacists, medicine not filled when promised, or best yet, medication not in stock, which was often), I moved to Westchester and noticed that this Rite Aid was close to my home. My doctor called in a 3-month prescription there, which was filled only long after I came in (they couldnt find me in the system, but they could find me after I was in the store, waiting). Needless to say, Im stuck with a brand of generic Im not comfortable taking, and the prescription is for only 1 month, when it should be 3. The "manager" of the pharmacy was unhelpful, to the point of being rude. Im kicking myself for coming back to Rite Aid, after all these years of having problems with them to begin with. Im going to stick with CVS or Duane Reade. I recommend you do the same.

They earned me back as a customer. A pharmacy is the last place for bad customer’s service, and I am glad that they learned it in Rite Aid. In the past I has pharmacist here who wouldn’t even leave the chair to point to the right medicine. But the last 2 visits were different. I had the help I needed, and I was helped with patient and with sincere meaning to help. I can say that if you had bad experience here, try them again, things changed.

after trying to work with 5 different pharmacies when I moved to New York, this was the first place that was truly helpful and friendly. The pharmacist went out of her way to help me and was efficient and friendly. Its always hard to find a pharmacy you like when you move, and Im happy to say I found one I will stay with.
