This is a fantastic little tattoo shop...getting a tattoo is the whole expierence you have to have some level of comfort with the people doing whatever artwork it is you want for yourself so just as important is the talent level of the artist that artist should have a personality or persona that makes you comfortable...this is what I found at Spirit Art the people who work there are great they listen to you..that is most rare in this town..dont get me wrong you can find some great artist around town but most are in it to make a buck off the base and take advantage of soldiers and newbies....you can trust this will not happen here and Kristie from Detroit Rock City:) is the best...the store is clean and trust me ive seen what a dirty store looks like..I shopped around and there where a few choices up here but Spirit Art is what I was looking for...honest clean simple.....Check it out you will not be disapointed...oh!! The work on my arm friggin rocks!!!

Awesome work! Kristi designed a tattoo for me and it turned out phenomenal! The fullest are so vibrant and the detail and line work is so delicate. It took a long time to do (3.5 hrs) due to the size, but it didnt even hurt. I have multiple tattoos from all over the US, and hers is my favorite by far! Im due for my free touch up to enhance the colors and I simply cannot wait to see it 100% complete! For those who say that the shop is dirty, I dont know who they are but it is far from dirty. Yes its a small shop, but very clean. All new, fresh out the package supplies are used on each client. I know there is some rivalry between tattoo shops in this area and it seems to me as if the negative comments are made by other shop owners trying to stir up trouble. If you ever need proof, I can show you their work happily!

Horrible, 20 yrs experience and they cant even manage to do a little coloring to fill in my sleeve hah. Then they tell me its my fault and I didnt take care of it mind you I have many tattoos and never had this problem. Total waste of time and money I dont know how their even a shop.

Today my friend went to get her tongue pierced and the lady ABSOLUTELY DID HER WRONG! My friend asked for the woman to move the piercing up a little bit more, she refused claiming that "she would gag"
