We decided to check out Harbor Freight so we signed up via text and received a 20% off coupon valid for 7 days. I was told there was a quantity of 1 of the item I wanted to purchase. I drove 45 minutes only to find out the item was not available and I would have to return in 3 days and unfortunately they would not be able to honor our coupon as it would be expired. I interacted with 3 employees, 2 of which had terrible customer service skills. Ultimately I ordered the item online. However we have decided it will be our first and last purchase due to the way we were treated.

Depending on the type of tool, theres some really good deals here but also some very bad deals here. Quality isnt so much an issue with most things, but things that say, keep a heavy vehicle lifted in the air while you work under it, I think Id prefer paying the extra money to go with a better brand. Generally speaking though, you can get some really great deals here and I especially love the variety packs of zip ties and other odds and ends where you might need a few different sizes but not sure exactly what size you might need.

I purchased a central forge model #67415 vise a few months ago and while using it I broke the jaw face-plate. I called harbor freight to order a new one and after being on hold for 25 minutes I was told they dont stock or sell parts for this product. As I suspected, when you sell junk it is not intended to be repaired, just discarded. Trust me as I told the young lady who answered my call, " I wont be buying anything else at harbor freight! Chinese Junk

Every single thing Ive gotten from here has fallen apart. The welding kit literally exploded, injuring two people, and staff refused to even grant store credit despite the return being two weeks after purchase because one of the parts was missing. The part was missing because it caught fire and was a melted piece of cheap plastic which was used instead of a fireproof brass fitting.

Absolutely love this store, great deals on awesome tools. I have purchased several items including a welder, welding helmet, welding cart, grinder & several other tools, tarps, gloves etc. etc. etc. and I have had great luck with every item purchased at this store. Customer for life.

Horrendous line every time I am ever at this store. 4 cash registers yet only one is ever open. 35 people in line waiting to check out, over an hour to make it to the register. No thanks!

Ive bought tools at different place and I really feel that Harbor Freight tools work just as well if not better than stuff at Lowes or Home Depot!

Slipped on a non-skid mat, reported it three time and still have not heard from anyone. Made me stop shopping there and I like the store.
