I just got a tattoo done on my ankle with Jerome and hes honestly one of the nicest guys Ive ever met. He was so caring and patient considering this was my first tattoo and I was still indecisive about the little details. My sister also got a tattoo on her ankle, done by him. I feel like he should get a lot more credit than most people give him. His personality is great: he was funny, talkative, and entertaining. Also, their tattoo prices are the best! Other shops that we asked were very very expensive, but Im so glad I got my first tattoo with him. Its only been 2 hours since I got it done as Im writing this and only time will tell how the final product will look. But as of right now, its amazing and I wouldnt change anything about it. If youre thinking about getting a tattoo, Id definitely recommend him! Such a nice guy and talented artist. Thanks Masterpiece Ink and Jerome!!

Masterpiece tattoo is in fact the only place on staten island or new jersey to get a real tattoo by a professional artist. Mike Pastore has been tattooing for almost 20 years and is the best. I have gotten two full sleeves and a redo on my back from Mike. Everywhere I go I receive nothing but compliments about my work including other tattoo shops such as Wooster St. And everyone is dying to get an appointment w/ him. He is booked solid for 8 months for a reason. If there are rumors about him, it is jealousy do to them not having his talent. Take it from a guy who had 9 tattoos before ever stepping foot into masterpiece and will never go anywhere else again. An added plus is the personalities of everyone in the shop. It is an experience you will remember forever.

I loved this place! Was there last night for the first time. The atmosphere is really friendly. I learned almost all their names. The tattoo quality is impressive. Felt like going to a buddys house to chill and left with a wonderful piece of art. The price was very reasonable and didnt break my budget. Shout out to Ed for my amazing first ever tattoo! Shout out to Dana for keeping us company. Shout out to Jerome for the great work on my tongue piercing. Shout out to Mike Pastore for running such a great, clean and credible establishment. The other Mike and the dude with the glasses and great hair, they were cool too. Haha. They really care about customer satisfaction. Already have two more tattoos in mind.

If you want your artist to fall asleep mid-tattoo, go here.lol If you wanna pay thousands of dollars for hours and hours of work that looks like it took a few min,go here.lol If you want a tattoo thats on 100 other people ,go here.lol If you wanna get tattooed by someone that never picked up a pencil a day in his life,go here lol. If you want a Jesus with 6 fingers or a name spelled wrong,go here lol If you wanna end up in the hospital for a week due to an infection ,go here...hahahahaha. I just came in from NJ to get my first tattoo with Jerome and I had the best experience! First of all I want to say that Jerome has the best personality and is extremely nice and talented. I would definitely recommend him if youre looking to get a tattoo at Masterpiece Ink and I am definitely coming back for my second one with him soon. He is such an amazing guy and tattoo artist. Not to mention the price was very reasonable and cheap compared to most places. The place is also very clean and professional looking. Thank you so much to both Jerome and Masterpiece Ink for my first tattoo experience, and more to come!

Best tattoo shop on Staten Island and if you want to include New Jersey I would agree. I got my 1/2 sleeve done by Mike as a tribute to my father. I went in there with an idea of what I wanted (actually 3 ideas) and what he drew up blew me away!! He combined all 3 of my ideas and came up with a unique piece that I get complimented on all the time and has a special meaning for me. The detail in it is amazing and a lot of that was done freehand. Gonna start working on another piece soon. I am not sure where John below got his info from, probably just a jealous wannabe tattoo artist.

Masterpiece is a great place for getting a tattoo. Everyone there was extremely nice and professional. I was treated very nicely rather than just a customer. Even my tattoo artist was friendly throughout my entire tattoo. there were other people getting tattoos while i was and they were getting the same great treatment by their artists. my tattoo came out exactly how i wanted. the prices are very affordable but then again why would you want to cheap out on something that is going to be on your body forever

Bad experience, this place is not the optimal choice. Everyone there was cool except my artist Jessica. She may seem nice until you realize shes a vulgar person. We had 2 appointments for my tattoo I gave her half of the money & she raised the price for the other half so my mother got involved & there was almost a fight with her. You guys can find a better artist than her, if you go there just go to someone else, cool place great people, good artist except her.

I have been going to mike for years and have always left satisfied with the work that was done. He is an extreme professional with excellent knowledge of his profession. He can take your idea and put it to life and make it the greatest piece or art that you will love for years to come. The shop is clean and he has thousands of ideas to help you get started in the direction u want to go with your tattoo.

I recently just got my angel bites done here. I am now going to the hospital tomorrow to have a piece of stainless steal removed from my lip. First of all they used a jewlery that was too small for my lip to begin with. Second, since it was so small its now infected. Third, my right side has closed up over the jewlery because it was too small. Now i have to get it removed & stitched up. Great job boys.

This shop is the best on the Island if not all of New York City every artist in the shop does amazing work... I go to Mike Pastore who is the best around his work is just sick very detailed ,perfect, clean and he has a amazing mind and is also a amazing person ... Ask yourself the question why settle for rinky dink shops when you can come get a masterpiece tattoo at masterpiece tattoo

I go here for ALL of my piercings! The piercer Tony is fast, (painless) knowledgeable, affordable and hes completely sterile & professional..not to mention hot, wanted to throw that in there. I do not trust any other piercer on Staten Island. Not in the least!! HELL NO! Most of them arent even licensed or properly trained. Masterpiece- Master Tony deserves the recognition

Walked in without knowing anyone in the shop in and was impressed with the service. The place was clean, the staff was friendly and hilarious at the same time. I went in without knowing exactly what I wanted and my artist drew something that fit me perfect. I left with something better than i could have imagined, something unique and custom. Will defiantly return.
