Freemans Bridge Sports had my bike for over a week. I asked them to put new tubes in and tune it up. I returned two weeks later to pick it up. I waited in line for fifteen minutes to be helped and the cashier took the person waiting behind me first. They did not put tubes in as I had requested and just did a tune up. I got home and realized the seat of my bike had been scratched. I also could not pay in the store because they didnt take American Express. I called to pay and it took me 20 min over the phone for the man to figure out how bill my credit card over the phone. I will never go back to this store again. I will take my bike to Blue Sky in Saratoga where I bought it from. I should have driven the extra 30 min to Saratoga in the first place rather than deal with this hassle. I didnt even get my tubes replaced at all!

The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. They do both sales and repairs of bikes and some winter sports. They have top of the line name brands and work to get you the best bike for your needs and desires. We recently purchased my wife a mountain bike. While we were there, I inquired about a problem I had with my bike and they immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed it, free of charge. This is the kind of service the you get with a small family owned business so we dont mind paying the slightly higher prices for quality bikes and service. The only downside is the location, as test riding a new bike in their small parking lot near a busy street is not the most idea situation, especially for younger children. However, it is not a big enough issue to deduct a star.

Avoid if at all possible. At this price, there are MUCH better shops in the region. I spent $180 on $50 worth of parts and 20 minutes of work by a competent bicycle mechanic. Exorbitant price for a shop that sells Trek and mostly no name bikes. Two stars because they acted nice (though auto mechanic slimy) and seem very experienced in the difficult application of degreaser on parts (sarcasm). I really wanted to support a local bike shop by paying a little extra, but if I could go back I would buy some tools and do it myself. I wont be returning, and I can almost guarantee other experienced cyclists do NOT get service here.

I wanted to get fitted for a bicycle as am a taller rider. As the salesman was describing the different styles and models, the mechanics behind the counter were mocking my lack of bike knowledge between themselves. The salesman was knowledgable and courteous but only while I was there. I was told to leave my information and they would build a bike that fit me. I never received any contact. I would not recommend this bike shop because of the immature staff. If you are willing to spend a weeks pay on a bicycle, make sure you feel good about the people youre giving your money to.

These guys really took the time to answer all my questions and help me select a bike that was both the right fit physically and for the level of activity I was looking for. They were able to build out a bike for me and provide me with all the accessories I needed to get started that same day. It seems like itd be a great place for both beginners and experienced riders alike.

Went in for a seat post first and they were quick and to the point, got me what I needed and on my way. Went in on Friday 6/2 with a crunchy headset and and they were calling me tuesday with a fix for less than $35. Kind quality service, thanks to the team there!
