I couldnt help but notice the comment about the old role-playing modules for I had traded in a lot of old stuff that was just collecting dust from my days in high school and college, were talking AD&D 2 edition. Im glad my old stuff is catching peoples attention for it was hard to part with but definitely worth it for it cleared out five whole storage bins of books and modules. The guys at Comic Depot were excellent with holding onto everything that I had traded in and taking the time to go through it all to give me an accurate valuation of what I was trading in. They were quick to get back to me and I was able to use my store credit to pick up some new products from Fantasy Flight Games in order to run some Star Wars campaigns with a new role-playing group I met locally.

Really lovely shop with great staff. I travel quite a bit but this store has been my favorite place for FNM/EDH and atmosphere. You dont have to be a hardcore Magic player to feel comfortable shopping here. They always seem to know the perfect cards for deck themes you want to build and the board/game nights are a great way to make new friends. I recently visited the store after being out of the area for almost a year and they recognized me and asked how Id been. The comic selection looks very nice and organized. They always have at least a few customers browsing. Great place to buy gifts for friends or kids. Check out their Facebook page for tournament schedules and game nights. Will be back soon! ☺️

First of all, the map is wrong but the street address is correct: Comic Depot used to be in Wilton Mall but it has recently moved to the shopping district in downtown Saratoga. For parents of teens, this is worth five stars on its own because no longer do we have to worry about our kids catching the last bus from the mall after a Magic tournament. Otherwise, this place does have a huge and esoteric comic selection as well as superhero collectibles and--my familys preference--lots of decks and aftermarket cards for role playing games as well as tournaments to play with other enthusiasts. The management is helpful and tolerant and never looks down at kids in the shop. An all round great place.

Knowledgeable and professional staff who make it a point to know their customers. They have a good back issue selection of both mainstream and independent books for those looking to complete a run, as well as a solid graphic novel selection of the same mix. Plus, they have a large game section with both board, card, and RPG! Ive found old D&D modules that I havent seen in decades. Good stuff.

Great guys to deal with, just dont try to touch Chris comics if he has one he bought there. ;-) The guys are great at MtG and comics, but also have figures from different lines. Very fun store to visit with the kids.

Lot of variety, picked up a star trek catan game there that has since gotten a lot of use. As is the same for many of the comic stores Ive visited though, light dominance is at play both in customers and staff.

They have a large selection of comics. I saw a decent amount of manga. They also have quite a few board games. They host a board game evening I believe its once a week.

Lots of comics here, both old and new. Not too stocked on the last year or so, but plenty of back issues. And its in a mall, so wives can go shop...
