Been using this Stop and Shop for about 10 years. Staff is rude and acts like customers are ghosts. When employees pack out the aisles, they block the entire aisle and do not move for customers. Dont ask for anything, you will catch an attitude. Store opens at 6am, self scanners dont come online til 7am, self checkout registers usually sometime after 8am. Dont ask about it unless you want to be scolded and lectured about how it isnt their problem. Store manager walks around with coffee just eyeballing everyone. Outdated stock on shelves, displays blocking aisles or products, sale tags up 2 weeks after sale ended (which is illegal), they tell you its your fault for not reading the sign closely. Check produce before you buy, some of it is moldy. Produce scales are barely functioning, i.e. no paper in them, prices do not match signs, scales are not zeroed out, some produce UPC numbers are not found in scale. Freezer cases of Aunt Jemima have sat empty since a recall 2-3 months ago.

I only used to come to this super market when I absolutely had to and its because I have never had a good experience here. The employees are never nice and the supervisors are unprofessional and rude. I once had a double charge on my card and when I bought them my bank statement and the receipt, they told me they would get back to me. A whole week of playing cat-and-mouse with these people and I ended up saying enough was enough and took it up with my bank. Another time, I had a supervisor sigh and roll her eyes at my boyfriend when we asked for a price check on an item that was no longer on sale, but the signs were still up. I do not like this super market and I will not be coming here again.

Most of the bad reviews here seem to be centered around personal encounters with rude staff members. I believe those people so Ill only deduct one star. Otherwise the store is very nice, very big, has very long aisles and alot of them to boot. They even have a star bucks built into the store which is pretty handy for any Starbucks fan. Good store to go to for groceries. And the prices arent that bad either.

Store is huge their bakery dept is phenomenal I love their pretzel bagels! Their pet aisle is great also this store as well as the Holbrook store have a great pet aisle which is important to me & my dogs & cat. The people are helpful & friendly & the prices arent that bad.
