I worked at this store for almost a year and completely hated it. I was hired as an organic specialist and was treated like complete garbage by both associates and the sexist male management. When I started there, the organic section was mostly rotten due to lack of rotation. I completely reorganized the entire section and took over the ordering. That section began gaining recognition but I never received any of it. Upper management took all the credit and received praise for it. This upset me because the section was totally disgusting before I started and none of the other associates would touch that area. Theres also a huge lack of product rotation. New produce is placed out onto the salesfloor on top of older produce which causes more rotten food. Customer complaints have skyrocketed and I tried explaining this to management and was perceived as a crazy person. It is a very sexist place to work. If youre an intelligent woman with a brain, they perceive you as a threat. If you stick up for yourself and others, youre a troublemaker. The worse thing about this store is the waste. The produce department alone wastes thousands of dollars of food within a week. But they just throw everything into a dumpster even if its still good enough to be donated. Just sad. A former coworker of mine asked management why we do not donate the food and was told that they donate enough money to charity. They donate to Junior Diabetes Research and around the holidays, they make bags of food that customers can BUY for the less fortunate. In my opinion, any charity work that they participate in, is done strictly for prestige and awards. If you shop at this store, youd understand the of entitlement that these managers feel. Some of them are willing to help their associates do the work but higher ups spend their day hanging out at Carry Out Cafe and drinking Tim Hortons; walking around acting as if theyre better than their workers. I honestly felt like a slave there. Thank God I found a new job.

Since moving to Lockport 5 years ago I have been driving the 20 minutes to Wegmans because I cannot stand the local Tops. The prices are exceptionally higher than at other stores because of the lack of competition in Lockport. For example a 1/2 gallon of store brand oj costs over $1 more at Tops and in general the prices of most items are higher than at Wegmans. The customer service is very poor. The women at the deli counter are not friendly and the cashiers are slow, bag the groceries badly and cant handle basic transactions. Unless you shop very late at night the store is always crowded and loud. There is usually a good selection of items but the quality and taste is average at best. The 2 sections that I think are ok are the fish market and the bakery but again they are just average nothing to draw me back to the store.

Dont ever buy strawberries called "well pict" I just bought some today and literally found a strawberry with mold all over it....WHO SELLS STUFF THAT IS MOLDY?! I am currently pregnant and if I was to eat a moldy strawberry...Just know I would definitely sue this company...And the location. Because they should be responsible enough to remove items that arent fresh and replace them with FRESH items...To be honest, Wegmans does a better job with their produce.

Used to be the only shop in town. Now with the new Niagara County Market and Super Walmart, Tops produce has gone down in quality. Picking through item after item making sure nothing has mold or any rot on it yet had become a choir. Now i only buy produce there when I dont have a choice due to time... Too bad, used to enjoy the store.

New to lockport and this Tops was totally different than my hometown. With it being so big I was a little lost as to how the aisle setup worked and could not find things easily. Change is hard. It was very clean and the cashier was nice.

Completely overpriced the only time you may catch a deal as with running a sale the produce is of terrible quality and usually has fruit flies all around it unless youre shopping for drinks I advise going somewhere else

Everytime I go to this Tops location, they RARELY ever have Dt. Dr. Pepper 2 liters!! 9 out of 10 times I would say!! Its pretty sad when 2 companies cant get the ordering right!! Its becoming very annoying!!!
