A Private User

Every time I visit this pharmacy Im disappointed by their customer service. Im usually met with rudeness almost as if Im incoveniencing them by asking them to fill my scripts. If I say Id like to wait they get irritated with me and tell me it will take 45 mins to an hour. One time I was told it would take an hour because there were only 3 perscriptions a head of me! The last time was so blatant that I complained to manager which I hate to do but when your job is to help ill people you should usually treat your clients with a little more patience and care.

Ive been a customer of the Rite Aid on Pine Tree Road in Ithaca for over 15 years. They do their jobs well, they are kind and they are thorough. Whenever there has been an issue with my medication, be it insurance or an issue with the prescription my doctor wrote, they are on the phone doing everything they can to get me what I need. I appreciate the staff at this pharmacy which is why, even though I no longer live as close to it as I used to, I remain their customer.

Every time I go to the pharmacy the customer service ppl are incredibly rude. I have tried over and over again to make excuses for them (they are busy, maybe they are having a bad day, etc) but it has gotten to the point where there are no more excuses they are just RUDE. I have tried to have my prescription transferred to a different pharmacy but apparently this is too much trouble for them.

I learned a new thing today because of this pharmacy: You must MAKE PHARMACISTS COUNT YOUR PRESCRIPTION IN FRONT OF YOU BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE STORE! Or else they might short you by giving you exactly half of the pills you paid for, then insist the mistake was on your end when you call to solve the issue. Unreal. Being gaslighted by your pharmacy is a depressing and frustrating experience.

Repeatedly hung up on me (4 times) for absolutely no reason at 710 PM on a Wednesday night in the summer. Just want to see if somethings ready before I drive across town only to wait for another thirty minutes there because you were too rude to pick up the phone and answer. Recommend taking your business elsewhere.

This Rite Aid has been the neighborhood pharmacy for years. They are busy and sometimes there are miscommunications with called in prescriptions, but on the whole they have been a good and reliable pharmacy over time.

Very bad experience with this people...had very high fever and made me wait forever even though I told them that I was getting late for work. No one seem to care. Had to leave with out my medicine.
