Edit: Im editing this review. I had called the 800 customer service number three times and it wasnt until yesterday that I found out that CS hadnt actually reached out to the DM or anyone in the store. I spoke to a very helpful Tara Lynn that she told me upon my initial call they are supposed to reach out to the store first then escalate if need be, so I was misinformed the first time she apologized and said she would take care of it for me. So it seems that the second time I had called the woman I spoke to for an update hadnt bothered to look at the ticket but rather gave me the "wait 72 hours" rather than do anything. I was contacted today by the general manager and she was very understanding and helpful. This review is primarily for the salon at this ulta location. I give it one star because my stylist was very nice and cordial, albeit rough with a hairbrush. She asked what I wanted and was very thorough she just wasnt thorough in checking her work. Ive tried to get in contact with the DM regarding a refund and Ive yet to hear anything. Ive reached out to customer service twice and I get the run around. Now on to the cut: I asked for just a trim and have my layers cleaned up. I spent most of my time faced away from the mirror so I didnt see what was going on. Now, my hair has a natural wave to it so the stylist only dried my hair a bit and let it wave so I didnt see the jagged edges and the ends and the quite uneven layers until I flat ironed it when I got home. I will be issuing a chargeback since the DM doesnt seem interested in rectifying this issue. Ive even offered to email pictures over. Now I have to pay more money to go somewhere else to get it fixed. Yes, its not a high end salon but it still cost $37 not counting tip. Walmart costs $10.

If I could give them no star thats what I would do. Where do I start... I spoke to a stylist before I made an appt she told me it would be about $140-$150 for my color, and I had a $25 off coupon so it should have been around $115-$120 at the most well they decided to charge me $204 with the $25 off coupon. 2nd they made me pay for my hair color before I even got to see my hair bc they said the store is closing and they need to close out all the transaction. (I was there for 6 1/2 hours). So I figured since they claim they are professionals and I should be able to trust them to do my hair they way I asked or even close to it I paid them $204. Well once my hair was washed and dryed it was 4 different colors. They told me since the store is closed come back the next day at 6pm (which is today) to have the manager correct the issue. So I leave and I call next morning to speak to the manager Andrea and she has no clue what Im talking about and tells me pretty much what is it that I want to be done. Asking me millions of questions like Im lying or something. Either way it goes my hair is still messed up and my weekend I planned is ruined. MY ADVICE IF YOU GUYS WANT YOUR HAIR COLORED PROFESSIONALLY DONE DO NOT GO THERE AND DEF DONT PAY BEFORE YOU SEE THE FINAL RESULT OF YOUR HAIR. ( I know that part was my mistake) but I do want to add that my stylist was very nice and concerned but the manager was horrible. Didnt even care or was even seen concerned about my hair!!!

Its not as big as other Ultas. And the workers there have literally NEVER actually helped me find anything. The few times I have sought them out for help, it didnt end well. They all clearly have knowledge of just a few products. So, if you are looking for like a soft, deep brown foundation with full coverage and you usually use Becca - but they are out. Thats it. They cant tell you to try Bare Minerals or Ulta brand or even a department store brand. Its just they are out. The end. (Clearly that happened - since it was so detailed. Haha.) But thats happened a few times. Once I was looking for the boudoir palette from Too Faced. I asked if they had it that store. She just said no and walked away. Well, two days later I went to Greenbrier and they had it there. It wouldve been nice for her to point that out - or if she didnt know - to look. Also, I have to make them check to see if I have points to use. Around Christmas last year, I went, and I forgot to tell her to ask and she didnt offer - but she had just offered the girl before me. I assumed that she didnt see any but I later found out that I had like $15 worth of points. That was crazy. Also, I have tried to make appointments with their eesthetician like 3 times. Shes never there. I gave up. But I still shop there because its closest to my house, and I love the brands they carry.

Absolutely unacceptable attitude from an amateur hair stylist by the name of Andrea who is apparently the salon manager. After making my girlfriend (a shy quiet girl who never speaks out) wait for 30 minutes past her appointment time (while all the other stylists brought their clients waters and apologized for their wait, she said nothing) she proceeded to jerk her head around and ask "who cut your bands, was it by yourself?" even though it was another Ulta. She then said " we usually only work with clean hair" when I can assure you it was very recently cleaned. Completely appalled and then the clerk had the audacity to give a dirty look when she obviously didnt tip. Shes such a high tipper but this was totally ridiculous.

Went in on Sunday, 5 employees past by us and not one, including the general manager, Crystal, spoke or ask if we needed assistance. Get to the register to pay, once again the gm didnt speak or great us but ask for my phone number. When I told her no, then she wants to tell me about their loyalty program. Ummm nope not having it, I told her about herself and her employees and her response was thanks for the feed back. Really, not even an apology for the rudeness. Will not spend my money again at such a poorly run store.

Horrible experience at the salon. I had an appointment with the salon manager at 3 with Andrea and I waited 30 minutes after checking in 10 minutes before 3. Andrea said not a word to me about why I had to wait or apologize for the delay. Once she finally came out she was rude the whole time she cut my bangs, yanking my head around, leaving me with uneven, choppy bangs. Ill be returning to this Ulta but not to their salon.

Went in last minute to get my hair done. Lucky for me, there was an opening. My stylist was amazing and I love the finished product. I am a regular shopper at Ulta and have never had a bad experience but I had never used their salon services. The salon services maybe a little pricey, but to me it is well worth it!
