I do not know how others are really viewing this establishment. The few times that I have come into this place, its the same issue. The meat was not fresh, nor are the fruits or vegetables. Today I went in to attempt to buy a ginger ale and decided just to walk around the store to see if the veggies was fresh. They were not and nor was the meat department. The freezers that hold frozen foods was broken, so when I opened the fridge, there was a stinch of spoiled food. I was so irked I left. I contacted the manager and told her about my experience and how dissatisfied I was and she very politely told me that the refrigerator was being fixed. So what about the meat department? The meat area was cold but looked really bad. She said that she would talk to the person in that department and fix the issue with the freezer. I noticed that she was trying to get me off the phone, but not so easy. I assured the manager that I would follow up on this issue. How us this store still operating? I know that the inspectors come out to check or maybe not. It hurts my heart to see people buy stuff from there because its convenient for this neighborhood, but your feeding your family this stuff! There must not be enough people complaining. Do not support this place. I had to rate a star because it would allow me to write a review without.

Its one of those supermarkets where you have to check every expiration date and usually other supermarkets have a cheaper advertised price its walking distance from alot of apartment building so people just accept the low quality of things because they dont drive or dont want to go elsewhere

Its on 195st jamaica ave. Ive lived in the area for over 15 yrs and I dont know how theyre still in business. The staff is nice and polite however the quality of food is disgusting. Expired, mold, dirty, flies, etc. Its horrible!

The meat is horrible. if you do find meat that isnt rotten it taste horrible after you cook it. Even breakfast sausages. Also the set up supermarket is stupid.

Find better deals on meats here than other local supermarkets. Shelves are usually well stocked and they have regular sales.

They have ongoing muscle milk sale for $2.99 a bottle. Great, quiet, neighborhood supermarket.
