This was seriously one of the best shopping experiences Ive ever had. I was helping my mom find a Mother of the Bride dress and I couldnt believe how great the owner was with us! My mom had already gone in with a friend a week prior, and Monroe helped her into DOZENS of dresses that were suited to my mom - and getting her into any dress is hard...the owner is just so good with people! My mom is not a girly woman at all, and she rarely wears dresses or anything like this, but Monroe quickly figured out my moms preferences and showed her dresses that really flattered her figure. She helped her pose and take pictures of the dresses - so many beautiful dresses. When I was with her, we got 1 on 1 attention and the dresses she picked out were gorgeous. We finally went with a stunning black dress with tasteful shoulder cutouts that I honestly would have never thought to pick out myself. I am SO happy with the dress and my mom truly LOVES it too (which is what matters most!). I honestly cant say enough good things; the prices are so affordable and the selections is great and the staff is so wonderful. Thank you again for everything :) my mom is going to look stunning!

Both my mother and my sister purchased dressed from here for my wedding. The color of my sisters dress was not what we had expected and it had holes through the entire top of the dress. Doing the exchange for my sisters was less than pleasant and we were given very few options to solve the problem. It seemed that her size was not available in any dress that we liked and the colors are somewhat of a gamble as they are not consistent from dress to dress. My mothers had a huge stain from too much dye at the bottom of the dress. Both are pretty poor quality and I would not recommend this to anyone. I guess you get what you pay for and in our case we paid for aggravation more than anything.

Monroes Place is roughly an hour drive from my home and it was well worth the trip! despite it being a busy Saturday, I was immediately greeted and taken to look through catalogs for a prom dress-- no appointment needed. basically you look through dress catalogs, pick what you like, discuss your choices with a saleswoman, and she takes you to try on your choices / similar options! they didnt have every dress in store, but they had other colors or similar styles I could try on and use as a reference for my final decision. the staff was friendly and the gowns were beautiful, as well as everything being very reasonably priced! I would absolutely go back!
