1 name. Joseph Campbell. Thats who you need to ask for. This artistic genius brought my vision, and then some, to life. I was planning my 40th birthday party and the theme was Moulin Rouge. When I went there for my mock set up appointment, I didnt know what to expect. I told him I wanted the room to be sexy, burlesque, over the top but without being Gordy or tacky. He had gorgeous linens there to complete the look of these sexy jet black polished candelabras draped in flowers and dripping crystals everywhere with fluted candles and table fillers- it was jaw dropping. We did long banquet tables , or kings tables, whatever you want to call them (theyre the hottest thing right now. He of course, asked me my budget- I told him to give me everything he thought (which I called my wish list) and then I told him we can always filter if its too much. It wasnt just flowers. They hung these chandeliers made out of flowers and crystals from the ceiling, they put these huge arrangements in a cage made out of diamond looking crystals and placed the on tall black column like pedalstals. They built this harem type canopy made from red chiffon and which was where my cake was going to be placed. Of course, I ended up getting everything he suggested because I loved it so much. And we negotiated a price that was fair. But he was at the venue, which was in Jersey, all day making sure everything was perfect. The linens, which we had gotten through his contact was red satin with Black lace overlay. The room was insane! The owners of the Westmount Country Club kept bringing in their friends, showing off how spectacular everything was. The linens, I ended up getting from 2 different vendors, only because I was pressed for time. The one Vendor, Finishing Touch linens in Hicksville , did the long, 24ft banquet tables. I had 2 of those tables and she was extremely expensive. If you havent already been able to tell, this party was costing me a lot money so being cheap was the furthest thing on my mind. But this woman was really astronomical. She charged for 495 per table and thats for a rental!, plus an additional $300 for delivery . I only had two long banquet tables, the others were all round. For the round, we did black sparkly sequence which I ended up getting from a vendor in Jersey called Rent4parties. Finishing Touch was charging $85 per Rental per black sequence round linen, while Rent 4 Parties was only charging $25 . They looked the same exact to me! I couldve gotten the banquet tables from Rent4Parties also if I had more time. They didnt have them in stock and it was something that needed to be ordered Thank you, Joseph, for your artistic design. And Thank you Phil (and Shannon

I would never recomend this florist to anyone. Please BEWARE, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR FLOWERS. This company was supposed to arrive at 1:00 to deliver my flowers for a 2:30 wedding. I get a phone call from the delivery man who was not Christoper, who was the consultant I had been working with. He tells me that they cant fit under a bridge and are running an hour late. I told them that my wedding starts at 2:30! He then said he was going to put all of my flowers in a car and drive them over. The company was lying. I work at a restaurant that deals with Pedestals. They have never had a problem getting under a bridge before. Needless to say they arrived at my house at 2:35. We all were waiting outside to get into our limos. The company didnt even apologize for being late. Christopher our consultant was no where to be found. Then, I get to the church very late and the ribbon I wanted on the railing wasnt even on the railing. I paid extra for the ribbon. When I called to complain later on they said oops we forgot because we were running late. So I am walking into the church and I look at my alter flowers. They left a napkin on my flowers. For a good 10 minutes of the ceremony I thought it was a dunkin donuts napkin. But, as I looked closer it said North Ritz Club. I was furious!!!! I paid alot of money for my flowers and was not at all happy with the flowers. Then, later on in our celebration one of my guests came up to me and said the pew flowers popped off. So, In the middle of my ceremony the flowers that were on the pew exploded and went everywhere. Luckily, when we got to the reception all of the flowers centerpieces were gorgeous!! If you would like to see pictures of my church flowers with the napkin on it please do not hesitate to email me. I will be happy to show you what type of business this company runs. HORRIBLE COMPANY PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!!!!

Heres the update to my story below... You cant delete what you write in Google review (at least I cant figure it out), so instead, Ill tell you what has happened since my review. I spoke to the owner of Pedestals and he explained his side of the story. While it still remains a he said/she said story, at least I did receive a call back, a caring conversation and money to cover the items I didnt receive. In the end, he did make good for the bad situation. If you are considering Pedestals Florist, take in to account my addendum to the story. Good luck with your search! Unfortunately, despite their good reputation, I had a horrible experience. For my daughters first birthday we had a party at a restaurant. I ordered the table arrangements from Pedistals and was very disappointed. There was NO arrangement on my daughters table, even though I had ordered something. The price tag was high and all i received was four small arrangements for the guests tables. That is not even the worst of it, they never had the decency to return my calls to listen to why I was upset. I was dealing with Rob and after 12 no returned calls, I have finally given up. Instead, I plan to spread the word rapidly about how bad they are. I have already told my friend (who was considering them for her sons bar mitzvah) NOT to use them. Spare yourself the upset.

As we planned our wedding, my husband and I agreed that the floral arrangements should be an important part of our affair. We felt that committing $20,000.00 for flowers would guarantee that our guests and we would enjoy the beauty that flowers bring to a gathering. After interviewing several florists, we decided upon Pedestals in Garden City. Our representative was Rob, who is also one of the owners. We were attracted to Rob, who catered to our every whim. Every request and suggestion was met with a confident “yes we can”. We were especially impressed by the fact that he assured us he would be at the ceremony to personally direct his people on the day of the wedding. Alas, what a difference a day makes. The day of the wedding, arrangements and flowers were not provided as agreed and contracted. The centerpiece at the main entrance was a foot taller than the chandelier it was designed to be placed beneath. The six dozen engagement roses for my bridal suite were replaced with two dozen cheap white ones. The white dendrobium orchids and super white hydrangeas we ordered were replaced with green ones. To cap it off, when we called Pedestals to request that Rob come out to correct these issues, we were told that he was on vacation in Aruba. Our advice to anyone shopping for a florist is to steer clear of Pedestals.
