Based on my three occassions with Chateau, I really do appreciate their excellent customer service and quality worksmanship. I had some gems and needed a custom piece made. For convenience, I thought I would try different jewelers local to my new home in Long Island. But these other jewelers did not want to help me, though they claimed to, making it a frustrating experience and a waste of precious time. I went running back to Chateau. In less than an hour, I ordered the custom piece from Chateau. Even with Hurricane Sandy, they produced the piece in time for Thanksgiving, and they even added a special trademark detail to the sides, which really made everyone very happy: my wife, myself, and even the folks at Chateau were genuinely pleased with the situation. The photo speaks for itself. Ill never go anywhere else for jewelry again...no matter how far I move, Ill always come back to Chateau.

I went in for an appraisal on my moms engagement ring. Felt like I was ripped off. Charged $165 and other places told me that they overcharged me. The details of the ring were incorrect. Also, the woman writing the appraisal spelled the word measuring wrong. "Messuring" is what she wrote down!! Seriously?? She also said she needed her glasses and never put them on. So disappointed! What a waste of time and money.

Ive gone to these guys for several things over the years (repairs, appraisals, etc) and Im always happy with the results. They always strike me as nice and trustworthy people.
