I went into Guintas Meat Farms on 109 for something for dinner tonight. I picked up a lettuce and it, along with all their other veggies, were dripping wet. I knew it would go rotten in about 2 days. But, thats not the problem. Another woman who was picking lettuce said the same thing. I went to the store manager, because the produce manager couldnt be found. As I started to tell him this other guy jumps in to the conversation saying thats how youre supposed to take care of produce. He didnt let me get a word in, and he told the other lady, who had trailed me to the manager, not to stand under the mist nozzles and told us if we didnt like it, we didnt have to buy it! Hows that for customer service! I told him he was rude and snide and he agreed and I told him he could keep his crap and walked out. I will never shop in that store ever! Oh, kudos to the store manager for never saying a word as he let one of his employees abuse a customer right in front of him!

The best produce and selection Ive come across. They have a well stocked latin section. All the dryed pepper varieties to make those authentic dishes whether they are south American or Mexican etc. Meat!Rabbit! Squab! Octopus! -yup- I dont like to buy my chxn from anywhere else... The meat department doesnt do customer service though... which is puzzling. The cheeses are the freshest and well priced. Great prices on everthing really. Their store brand of products are also very high quality for the money. Wish they had more asian products besides produce. But they do have wanton wrappers in a few varieties. If you cook indian food... they usually have fresh methi leaves too! I agree with another review about the fast checkout lines... the best!

Great for fruits and vegetables always fresh and good prices. They always have a few quick sale items that are worth a try if you are eating them within a few days. Good selection of italian bread and rolls and italian cookies. Big deli counter always busy especially on the weekends. Good meat selection . Best to buy the sales. Not recommended for general grocery items which seem overpriced. Try Guintas parmesean (ungrated) as good as popular brand at half the price. Always plenty of checkouts open what a pleasure!

Home of the italian shoppers!!! Everything youll need to make a awesome sunday dinner! The fruits and vegetables are as fresh as can be. The meat is fresh and cut right. Grocery aisles have a unique selection. The dairy section is fresh. Bada bing! This place is good!

Great produce and meat prices. You dont have to worry - this food is fresh! Deli counter is always busy but fast. Staff is very nice. Never a long wait to check out. Parking is a little tight so pick a spot in the farthest part of the lot near the main road.

They have Excellent Soup Bones for anyone who has a Dog & cares about their Oral Health. Not only are they fresh & are chock full of marrow but theyre even (much) cheaper than the bones they sell at virtually all pet stores.

The absolute best produce around Farmingdale. Better than Stop and Shop. The meat pricing is fair quality and has good pricing. The check out line is the fastest of any other supermarket.

Great produce and low prices. They always have all registers open so there is never a wait. Being around the block from a drive thru Starbucks doesnt hurt!
