The first thing that caught my attention was a really funny sign outside where famous titles and phrases were rewritten into jokes. I then see French poetry on a table, and I couldnt resist myself until I left the store carrying a Brooklyn book souvenir. They also have a great selection of independent magazines, and the owner/clerk was really nice. Great bookstore!

I like it too... For me it is their used spiritual book section. My wife loves it for the exceptional and unique selection of art and architecture books from small publishers. This is the type of bookstore that would be sad to lose to big chains like Barnes and Noble.

Ive found some very rare books on architecture here. pricy, but it beats getting them through the internet, since Im able to browse and shoot the breeze with the staff. I forgot when they opened, 96 or 97, but ever since I go there, and they even let me bring my dog

A good selection of books, but its a shame most of the staff are so unfriendly. Not even a good morning, afternoon, please or thank you! Good customer service is so important in this day and age when we have so many on line alternatives.

A good bookstore to browse. I have trouble finding particular books here, but I love their recommendations and their used books are always a good deal. Their poetry section is a little slim, but they do keep a good variety of journals.

Not a huge supply of books: this is more a curated kind of store, with just the cream of the crop. I wouldnt come here looking for something to read, but its great place to kill some spare time browsing the latest art magazines.
