I love love Sephora Brooklyn. I am a regular customer to this location not because its close to my home, because I also work mere blocks from the Wall Street branch in the financial district.... but because of the professional care and warm reception I get whenever I visit. My two favorites are Kerry Ann who unfortunately has moved to the Columbus Circle branch and Liz. Because of Kerry Ann and her professionalism and product know how, I am now a VIB Rouge. She does not refer me to products just because they are new or popular, she sells me on products that will actually work AND look good on me and they do. Now that she is gone, I found Liz.... Liz is my savior when it comes to my Mini Makeovers. While doing this she explains the products, matches them to my shade, explains why she is using one product over the other... she answers each and every one of my questions with an expertise that is always on point. When I leave Sephora.. always with a new purchase I never feel duped... I know with my new purchase, I am about to look and feel better than when I walked in.. Now Im on my way to extending my VIB Rouge status....Thank you Liz and Kerry Ann for doing what you do!!!!

very poor customer service. I didnt even go when it was a busy time, I went when there was a relatively small amount of shoppers in the store. I really needed assistance with something and not ONE staff member came up to help me. I felt like it would have been rude to just come up to a worker and ask a question because they are always talking into their headsets or talking to each other. I feel a little uncomfortable approaching a group of Sephora staff members sometimes, especially if its something I am self-conscious about...but really, I was just standing around in the same section all helpless waiting for at least someone to come help me....i left after wasting my time for 35 min I DO have to say that the store is kept clean for the most part...a few ignorant shoppers cause a mess sometimes, but the maintenance of this large store is pretty good.

My least favorite but most convenient location of all the Sephoras in NYC. Do you see my dilemma? This place is literally walking distance to my house but I hate coming here. Theres literally no one on the floor. You literally have to search the store for someone who isnt already dealing with another customer. Another thing that truly grinds my gears. Dont advertise services that you cant provide. I stopped by here more than once to try the mini facials and the "director in charge" always says "at this time we dont have anybody certified to do the facials". Then why does the sign say that you do? Employees are not really welcoming except for about 3. (Yes, Ive been counting). Rule of thumb: Dont come to this location unless its an absolute must.

The people who work here are really great at finding shades. Today, one of the workers (I didnt catch her name and I regret it!) helped me exchange my friends foundation for another brand in a different shade. It was a difficult request! I asked for a shade darker than the one I had to change and lighter than one shade that my friend used to own. She swatched 4 different shades and suggested one. It turned out to be my friends exact shade! PERFECT! Because I wasnt going to come back for another exchange haha.

Service here depends on the time of day and how busy it is. I go here a lot and sometimes I get greeted and get help finding what I need as soon as I walk in, and other times I cant find one employee for a while. When I do get helped the staff is always friendly and helpful! They do have a great selection of products as all Sephoras do. Testers are empty often but it might be due to the high volume of people coming into this Brooklyn busy location. Perfume guys in the back are always great and helpful!

Lapin and I came here several times before. Most recently, it was to pick up a new fragrance and to get my makeup done. The artist at first said she didnt have time (even though there was no one there) but eventually she was like "okay, I will do it". But, usually, the service is top notch and sales rep go out of their way to provide assistance with a smile (yes! reps that smile still do exist!). The reps at the fragrance department definitely have great customer service skills.

This place really improved since last time I was here (More than a year ago). Or maybe I was just lucky to come on a day when there weren’t a lot of people here, and really felt that I am getting professional help. For the prices they charge, this is the service I expect to get here every time I do shopping here. For the first time I left with a smile (a shiny one) filling that I just made a great purchase. Just some professional help is all I needed.

The energy was amazing!!! I def. made sure I asked the one employee who helped me her name just so I can write this review!!! "KIRSTEN" please continue to smile and bless others... Just you taking your time out to help me with 20 questions meant a lot! (People may be reading and thinking.. Duh its your job)! Ive been going thru so much and our convo and your beauty tips made me feel really beautiful again!! Youre the reason I will be back at sephora!!

I was here for the grand opening of this Sephora. It is conveniently located not to far from the Jay Street- MetroTech station where the A/C and F trains are, as well as the green lines. They have the Deborah Lippman line of nail polish. This location also has the plastic for you to try the nail polish on to see how it looks, instead of doing it on your own nails.

Just about the worst Sephora store you could ever go to. The lines are long and the checkout is slow like a sloth. To make matters worse, the employees have a high sense of self-worth and big ego. Not friendly whatsoever! I really would not recommend going to this location. Hop on the 4 train and go straight to Manhattan, there are plenty of Sephora stores there.

Horrible customer service. The manager act as if he did not want to assist me because I was in "comfortable attire." I will never come to this location. Do not waste time or energy. Its time we as consumers stop giving our money to these business who dont appreciate the hard working consumer.

This sephora store is worse than worse....they dont have any gift wrapping paper! No gift box! Store workers dont know what they are doing...wish I dont need to give one star in order to comment...if it wasnt because it was the only store in brooklyn wouldve never chosen it

Makeup artist didnt show up to work, and because they didnt have any other open slots, I couldnt get my makeup done. The artist should be fired. The only thing that adds a star to this review is that the manager was genuinely apologetic and tried to improve the situation.

It is one of the smallest sephora stores, but it has what I normally want to get at sephora. It does get crowded fast, because of the small amount of space, so people push one another to get through. Besides that the service is good, they come to you if you need any help.
