Im into family owned and operated businesses, especially ones that have been around a while because they tend to have more emotionally invested in keeping their customers happy. Prospect Cycles is just that. As a woman rider, my first impression is always whether Im treated with respect or not. I cant stand walking into a shop and being told that a bike is too big for me before the staffer knows anything about my riding experience. Or when some idiot starts shooting off their mouths with total nonsense on a bike that Ive researched already. That did not happen at Prospect Cycles. They treated me with respect first, asked about what Ive been riding, what type of ride Im looking for and what I know about the bikes I was looking at. Then they made suggestions -- good ones. Another reason I went with Prospect Cycles is that I had taken my older motorcycle over for a few minor repairs on two separate occasions. The owner came out, took my seat off and fixed the problems for free. They were the first place I went to when the time came to shop for a bike, my first new one. Once I settled on a bike, I even went to every dealer in the area and found that I got the best OTD price from Prospect Cycle, in some cases $700 less than other dealers. On my new bike, all adjustments are for free, clutch, brakes, and other easy stuff while I wait. They installed the accessories I ordered from them and from online for free. When checking the price of my first oil change and maintenance, it was pretty close to the same price others riding this motorcycle are paying around the country unless they are doing it themselves -- it was $200. I must say though, that buying accessories has been frustrating. It has been much easier and faster to go online. But overall, the Prospect Cycle family is easy and wonderful to deal with. I definitely recommend them. Keep in mind to avoid rush times since they are small, they are also prone to burn out on sunny, warm, Saturdays. Go early on Saturday or during the week for best service.

This is a typical scam artist dealership!! They either treat you like total crap at 1st (which ive witnessed alot) OR they hook you in buy treating you like a friend and "hooking" you up at first, BUT they are scheming you and feeling you out for how much money you can afford to spend in the long run! The owners son sean is an absolute liar and thief, if he isnt rude to you at first then hell pretend to be nice to you and little by little find "bigger" problems that can eventually cost you thousands. as I got more familiar with them and Niavely thought I could trust them I slowly realized that some problems with my bikes didnt ad up, theyre notorious for charging for work they never do , ask any other reputable MC mechanic in the area and youll hear story after story. as I talked to other motorcyclists and smaller trust worthy shops I heared alot about this guy seans history , One shady low life MFer . One cop even told me he thinks they have a bike stealing ring. Now from what I hear the dad is ok and the place had a good rep at one time. But in all, my experience turned out to be very bad and cost me more money than id like to admit!!! Take this warning seriously Unless you like getting played for a sucker. and as far as the people leaving positive reviews... well!! either you work for prospect or your in the middle of getting slowly screwed..trust me a while ago I would have gave a great review thinking they were on my side but time and their reputation will show you otherwise.....youve been warned!!!!

This dealership is great! Just went to get my second bike from them yesterday. I bought my first bike from them, a beautiful Ninja Kawasaki 300. Not only did they give me great advice and price on my first bike they also were there for any question I had after. I had to wheel my bike to them because I could not get it started. Freddy (great chill dude) the salesman gladly showed me how the bike wouldnt start if I left the kill switch on (dumb mistake). Doris (sweetest lady) is the Queen of the Mothership if you have not been helped and you have been waiting she will get on the crew and you will have help in no time. Veronica, who works in the financing department I believe, helped me pick out a bike. She recommended my first bike to me because it was commonly mistaken for a 600 which as a beginner who wanted to start on a 300, really helped. When my first bike was stolen along with all my paperwork in the back (another dumb mistake) the manager and Freddy helped me obtain all the copies I need for insurance. Before the bike was stolen I had dropped it and they fixed it inexpensively and quickly. Through all the hardships of a new motorcyclist I am beginning to wonder if it is for me lol. The experience and support I keep having with Prospect Motor Cycle keeps me riding hopeful and strong. Thanks Guys and Gals! Everyone if you want your purchase to be easy check them out!!

I am truly happy to have dealt with prospect cycles on my new purchase. From step 1 through the end, Dave was remarkable. Dave went the extra mile, truly to ensure I leave his location with what I wanted. There was no pressure to buy and everything was explained straightforward. It took longer than expected to ensure I was able to purchase today, but Dave got it done. He worked with me until 8:30pm, whereas they would have been closed at 6pm. For this to occur says a lot about Dave’s service and care towards his clients. I did not feel as though I was getting a run around or a bad deal. I recommend Prospect Cycles to anyone looking to make a new purchase on any bike of their choice. Prior to Prospect, I dealt with Kind Cycles in Brooklyn. Prospect Cycles outshines King Cycles by a land slide mainly because of the damn great customer service. I am an actual customer who purchased today, March 17, 2015. If you have any questions about why I have rated them this high, please feel free to reach out to me. I also would like to thank Bruce, GM for staying with Dave to complete this transactions. And thanks also to Andrew, who provided me with great customization ideas and orienting me with my bike. Hats off to prospect cycles. Thanks, David!!

I purchased my bike a new Kawasaki zx-6 from Prospect Cycle back in April 4th 2015. The bike is cool, but a little over price for a left over model. Its business so I dont take it personal you live and learn next time searching for a new bike. I will be patient and will search thoroughly for the best deal regardless of location. The level of professionalism is good. I always been treated well and never had any complaints. If I need some advice for mods Im looking to add on my bike Andrew always make sure I get the best bang for my buck possible, and since he a motorcycle enthusiast well they all are it makes the process that much easier to decide. For example, I notice tank slappers while riding by bike so I came to Prospect Cycles and ask Andrew what can I do about this. He recommended steering Damper and explain the purpose for it. I was convinced I needed one so he ordered it for me. So, in the matter of 2 days the part was here they called me and let me know it was here. I was highly excited and curious at the same time to see how this component works. They installed it for me and Andrew thoroughly showed me different setting and all. I rode my bike back home and was soo IMPRESSED with the handling and firmness of the bike! Good people.
