Just as the prior review mentioned, I also had avoided this store for its quintessentially ghetto environment. After their renovation, though, I gave it a shot this time, to discover that the store was still fully inauspicious. The price range seemed OK for the spirit is still ghetto friendly, but I did not know what to say when I discovered the employees there to have no proper training to deal with decent customer services; a cashier whom I tried to get the attention to correct her mispricing cursed me in Spanish. And Hola! I unfortunately understood what she meant; a racial slur--- I am a racial minority born and grew up in NYC, but my high school Spanish sufficed to acknowledge the level of their accommodation. When I sought for a manager figure, whoever would help me out of this menacing cashier, the man himself did not handle much of English and joined all the Hispanic workers laughing off the situation. Caramba! This unpleasant experience made me swear off not only this store but all the likes just to spare me from any further unsafe shopping experience. There should be other supermarket where I can get a round of weekly grocery shopping done without being pushed around as in this ghetto en espanol. In Trader Joe, they at least speak English, and they are encouraged to do so?

This store is conveniently located and their prices are so-so, but 1 in 3 trips to the store something in my basket rings up for more than what it is labeled on the shelf or on the package itself—and their "customer service" is AWFUL. Their cashiers and even their managers dont care a bit for their customers. They are unhelpful at best and often incredibly rude. Even their managers have absolutely no sense of customer service. I hate this grocery store. I go to this store because its nearby but I always leave feeling slimy.

Its right near my house so I go, but it has the worst customer service Ive ever gotten. The cashiers make you wait while they finish text conversations, and they consistently forget to bring my delivery groceries to my house, so I have to call an hour later and inquire about my shopping that I was told would be there "in 10 minutes". The smell from the rotisserie chickens cooking is horrific (Im not vegetarian, either). The selection is fine, but its not a great shopping experience.

I dont go here often since it is quite a distance from my house. The times I have been have been enjoyable. Which is not something I normally day about a great store. They have a decent of not expansive selection. The prices are a little high. The staff is friendly and helpful, which is hard to find in grocery stores in Brooklyn. I would give them a 5 except for the prices and limited selection.

This place opened soon after the EAGLE closed - it is a godsend. The produce is PHENOMENAL! The deli counter is FANTASTIC!!!!! And most of all, contrary to what some other reviewer said, the management is WONDERFUL! They take requests for items to carry, the store is immaculate and the checkout girls are DELIGHTFUL and friendly! You do NOT get this anywhere else in Brooklyn!

Great local grocery. Big enough to offer just about anything you need, and small enough to still have the small market vibe and great hospitality. Produce much better than Key Food, with a good selection of organics, not quite on par with the Coop or Whole Foods, but much more convenient and efficient, even when crowded. My go to shop....

The music is absolutely dreadful. Its awful. Other than that, its a fine grocery store. I like that its conveniently close to my apartment. But sometimes I avoid shopping there because I dont want late 90s pop stuck in my head for the next handful of days. Let me emphasize again how awful the music is. Its bad.

I have for to say that I love the selection this grocery store offers. I have gone dairy-free and dont eat meat or poultry and love that I can walk out of this store with many alternatives from the up and coming brands like Galaxy Nutritional Foods, Morningstar, Amys, Mimic Creme, Purely Decadent and more.

Packed with items on items, this small grocery store manages to squeeze in the contents of one twice its size. Here youll find a solid deli counter, impressive selection of cheeses, and even upscale cocktail mixes.

Good supermarket, beats the deli. Some of the prices for items by the deli like special cheeses and some of the produce are surprisingly high. Store has a decent array of foodstuffs. Its a serviceable clean place.

The store 905 Franklin loves to charge you a different price from the advertise price. Many of their products do not have a display price. This is the most expensive Associated.
