The food has always been good as long as I have been going there (25 years). The only time service slumps is when the older lady works the counter on weekends. She never pays attention. She gets confused with money. Shes not on the girls to pick up the phone it just rings and rings and they dont pick up. (I sat and watched this). When the husband and wife work the place the waitresses wont answer the phone nasty and take your order quickly instead of making you wait for ever. Customer service is lacking on weekends. I can understand your extra busy on weekends, but its no excuse for poor service. Answering the phone with an attitude or just over looking customers and not asking if anyone has helped them.

Went here for breakfast today for the first time. The service was great and fast. However, when I received my order of Home-fries, Eggs, Toast and coffee. All was fine except for the home-fries. The home-fries had no potato chunks, it was all mush with lumps. It was basically lumpy mashed potato with home-fried ingredients. When I expressed this to the manager... He said "you are the only one complaining, so its you". That sentence lost him a customer and earned him a bad review. I will never return there again.

Wierd little shop. Everyone seems so engrossed in their own little world that they dont even notice people walking in and sitting at the counter. Coffee is good at least. Just dont speak spanish around the manager because she will make it a point to call you out ( an indignant manner) and tell you she doesnt speak Spanish but wants to understanding whats being said around her. Ironic because the entire kitchen staff and waitresses are all Hispanic and barely speak English. I feel for the employees there.

This is my favorite diner in the area and I am a regular visitor because they never let me down with their food! The service is usually pretty good whenever I visit so I dont have any complaints and if they ever mess up my order, its never an issue for them to correct it. This diner gives me a nostalgic feeling anytime I visit because it reminds me of an older restaurant. The only thing Im not a fan of is the early closing time but I suppose its to compensate for them opening so early.

A very small restaurant and little room for moving around inside. The prices are a bit high for it being located in the Bronx. They do not accept debit or credit cards so I went in and ordered breakfast and found out afterwards. Inconvenience to me because I had to figure out where there was a bank or atm nearby.

I cant believe Ive lived in this area for 3 yrs and didnt know about this gem of a diner. They have the best belgian waffles!! They are to die for and the waitresses, and owners make you feel at home greeting straight through the door. Clean, great food, excellent service, and reasonable price. A must have!

Nice little place. Service was very quick and people were friendly. Another comment here mentions the home-fries being more like mashed potatoes- this is true- they were definitely a different style than I am used to for home fries but tasty anyways.

Very good restaurant and I love their french toast!! They only got four stars instead of five because the food is always better when its served in front of you!! Delivery always kinda sucks for this type of restaurant but they are very good!!!

Our staple diner. They almost always have a line but they turn tables fast enough. The waitresses are so kind and attentive. Theyll make you anything even if it isnt on menu. Super accommodating.
