A modest-size supermarket that serves a rural population and tourists. Boiceville is a hamlet on a 2-lane state route in the Catskills. This market is the largest retail business in the hamlet and only full supermarket for a 30-minute drive in either direction on Route 28. Selection is somewhat limited, but all the necessities are available. Several local artisinal bakeries stock products for sale, and, in-season, most produce is also locally sourced. The beer selection (chilled) is large and diverse. The deli makes excellent sandwiches for carry-out, and has a variety of prepared meal items.

Boiceville Market will re-open after some renovation due to Irene. Its a friendly, well stocked local market with a good selection of organic and local produce. They often run "truck load of meat" sales and frequently other sales that really help those on a budget. We will miss you Steve and the gang, but hope the healing process is quick. Irene hit us hard but she has not broken our spirits!

A bit pricier than larger chains but its local, friendly, and well stocked. Decent organic section. Has good produce selection for its size, carries local produce, milk, and occasionally home based baked goods. Nice meat department as well, typically has butcher on site. Great deli. Carries Bread Alone products and has its own bakery with fresh croissants, and rolls.

A great store. Wide selection and a lot of really fresh produce. I picked up corn and it was so tasty. Not from the area so I was crossing my fingers for a good experience and I got one.

Prices tend to be a bit higher than large supermarkets, but its the only place around for nearly half an hour drive that has a decent selection of staples, meats, and produce.
