Clothing in general is well-designed and of fair quality. 10% is above $40 but fabric quality and design justifies it. Same for handbags, shoes, bijoux and rest of accessories. Overall, my shopping experience was very pleasant. All girls were very attentive and courteous. I was even assisted inside the fitting room and one of the girls helped me to exchange my blouse for the right size without even asking for help. Something unusual at this particular store. My last visit before June 2017 was a year or so ago. Things have changed for better here. I would definitely go back at this store in Astoria (corner of Steinway and 31st Avenue).

I bought a plain white shirt that was brand new and sealed. A month later when I decided to iron and wear the shirt for the first time I discover that it has one of those anti theft devices on. I went back to the store and I had to convince them that I didnt steal it by showing them my purchases from my debit card. I highly recommend that everyone who makes purchases from here check to make sure there are no alarm devices on anything your purchase even if it is in a sealed bad, if you dont have the receipt theyll just automatically assume you stole it.

I have never experienced such disrespect when shopping at express. I truly love this store but the manager was absolutely disgusting rude and embarrassing. Working in customer service and as well being a manager I work with my costumers to make them feel happy and comfortable as much I can, but being treated the I was treated at this store was disappointing. I recommend people not to shop here at this EXPRESS!! If I could give him a zero star I certainly would.

The location was okay but once you get into the store and start walking further to the back in hopes of finding something, the clothing racks and display tables are all unorganized and look jumbled together. Kind of turns you off when youre looking for something. Express already isnt my go to store, but this was a reminder as to why.

I wish I didnt have to give a star just to review. Waited on hold for 50 MINUTES just to see if they had a size in stock. Ironically, I got hung up on. Of course, when I called back.. the phone rang for 3 minutes but no one answered.

Slow service, cashiers chatting amongst themselves instead of helping customers, and to top it if they failed to remove the security tags and I had to go back.
