Normally I never make a point of complaining about poor customer service or poor work done that I pay for. In this case I was so irritated and upset by the work and service I received I felt the need to. I went to LY Nails in Crossgates Mall about 2 hours prior to a work function I was attending at the mall. I needed my ANC nails removed and new ones put on (tips with the ANC powder) First the woman they asked to do the nails, did nothing but complain that she didnt like to do ANC nails (mind you she was newer to the nail salon) She finally gave in and sat down to work on my nails. All she did during the entire time was complain that ANC was not "her thing" and she hadnt done ANC for over a year, so she couldnt even remember some of the steps needed. Not only did she almost cut my finger tips twice and used so much glue while applying the tips, but she applied some of them incredibly crooked. I asked for short tips with ANC - not some long some short and definitely not crooked tips. She also took about an hour and a half to perform the entire service. My friend was there with me and her same service took maybe 25-30 minutes; mainly because the man kept getting up to help others and grab stuff. So the nails I had done for an event later in the evening and for a weekend girls night, turned out absolutely horrible looking and I had no other choice but to fix them myself before going out for the girls night. I will NEVER return to this place and I hope NO ONE will have to deal with this woman again. The place was very messy, unorganized and the service was definitely not worth the $40 spent there. Ive had cheaper and incredibly more beautiful nails done at other places and I will continue using them moving forward. I dont even think this place deserves the 1 star review.

Es un centro comercial enorme en el que se pueden encontrar diferentes tiendas, la mayoría relacionadas con la venta de ropa. Aparte de eso, hay muchos restaurantes con precios que se amoldan a todos los bolsillos. Es un lugar perfecto para pasar una tarde si se necesita hacer muchas compras pues puedes encontrar desde tiendas como Apple a outlets como Burlington con sólo andar unos metros.

Crossgates Mall is the best Mall in the Capital Region. Whatever you need or whatever your looking for Crossgates Mall will have it. From cloths to electronics to food, this mall has it all, Including the best movie theater in the Albany/Capital Region. Regal Cinemas 18 is the best movie theater in the Capital Region. The theater also has a state-of-the-art IMAX screen. My advice is to do your shopping put your stuff in your car and come back in and see it the movie in the IMAX theater. It will blow your mind.

I love the proximity of this mall to my work and apartment. The parking arrangement is a little strange, but not so hard to navigate once you realize you sometimes have to go back out to the main road to get from one lot to the next. There are very few empty store fronts compared to the malls I see in cities of comparable sizes around the state and this mall is usually calm and I do feel safe when Im here. There arent usually bands of roving gangs of hoodlums like you see elsewhere either.

A melting pot of humanity with a variety of stores. Always changing up your options. Its relatively well maintained, but its a huge parking lot and its too easy to get your ass lost the first time you try to go. I recommend taking 3 pictures of where you park. What your car looks like right now the closest store and what the road looks like from where you parked. They have a multitude of comfy seating spaced out an elevator and 2 escalators on either end.

This is probably the worst mall in Capital District. They are awful to the employees who work there. They open in national holidays such as Thanksgiving and force hundreds of people to miss holidays with their loved ones. During a blizzard last year they kept the mall open but the !management went home because it was too dangerous for them to stay. Do your business elsewhere. Colonie Center is much nicer and isnt always under construction.

Cross gates mall offers some stores that I do not have access to elsewhere in my area of New England. Id say its better than most other malls in the area, with two stories of much more stores however I find the cleanliness in some common areas such as the food court and bathroom lacking in sanitation. If youre in the area though choosing a close mall, crossgates is overall probably your best option for wider variety of stores and wares

A large, albeit sometimes swaying in the breeze, mall that is quickly diversifying its self away from retail stores and moving towards more restaurants and interactive experiences. Come for a game of bowling, a show, or a bunch of video games. Unfortunately, this mall and its neighbors contribute to the destruction of habitat for the endangered karner blue butterfly and the destruction of the Albany Pine Bush.

Average mall that has many of the stores you may want to go to. Nothing extravagant but it has all the necessities. The highlights are that it has an apple store as well as a good food court with other restaurants peppered throughout the mall. It also has a movie theater inside if you want to take a break from shopping and see a movie. I would def come back here for my shopping needs.

Its a mall. Just a bigger version of other malls. Same stuff, fast fashion, mediocre food, boxed knick-knacks and electronics that can always be purchased cheaper online. The IMAX theater, Lucky Strike Social, and Funny Bone comedy club are all great, but aside from that its a waste of space and too much traffic to get in and out of for a bunch of stores you can find anywhere else.

There are lots and lots of stores and eating places. And its very convenient. But, for me, it just seemed a bit overwhelming because Im not that comfortable in large crowds. My Daughter loved the mall though because its got speciality stores, she had in mind a certain brand of shoes and was able to find them at what she considered a good price. Yes we are going there again

Decent big mall with 2 full floors and 1 partial 3rd floor. Great selection of stores, they have a major electronics store, Best Buy, Colonie Center doesnt. But Crossgates isnt as comfortable and luxorious as Colonie Center, and the mall is too damn hot year-round they need to stop wasting oil on overheating people in the Summer or people wearing coats in the Winter.

The 18-and under policy at this mall makes it a bit sketchy, but there are quite a few good anchors stores here. The movies, the Dave & Busters, the Apple store-- theres a lot of options, but it just doesnt feel as nice and airy as Colonie Center, and the parking can be tough to navigate. Still, if you need something, its probably here, unless you want a book.
