This Review is for Matthews Hallmark in the Cumberland Mall and so is the rating! I do not understand!!!!! They have this position posted for a key holder for months. I went there to apply and the manager is Very stand-offish. It seemed as if she tried to discourage me from applying. She asked a series of questions standing in the middle of the store. She asked me have you ever worked retail? I answered yes. She asked have you ever been in a management position? I said yes, and told her where. She said "that doesnt matter". I told her I also worked at a hallmark store when I was 16. She told me "that does not matter that is when you were 16". The other lady working in the store starts adding her negative comments. Then she asked me if I had open availability? I said, yes. The manager finally gave me the application with an attitude. I was baffled! I did not complete it because I felt like I would be working in a hostile environment. My friend also went and was treated the same way. Hallmark is such a nice place to shop. The atmosphere in all of the ones Ive ever been in is so very pleasant. So, I really do not understand this behavior when I just need a job and went there looking for one.

Decent selection of stores, has gotten MUCH better over the past few years. Dept stores such as Boscovs, despite it having an over-crowded feel they do have some great sales ALL THE TIME; Burlington Coat Factory, total opposite "feel" as Boscovs - more like lacking some inventory kind of feel but I still love what they do have! Other stores include Victorias Secret, Bath & Body, Ulta Beauty, Spencers, Journeys, Bed Bath & Beyond, 2 Hair Salons, a Travel agency & they just very recently added a childrens "playground" inside the mall, making it more family friendly, years ago it used to be the local hangout for teens on Fri & Sat nights but not so anymore...Also, a Home Depot, Best Buy (its a smaller store then most Ive seen) & BJs w gas station! & movie theater & various restaurants on same property. Easy accessible from Rt. 55 and lots of nearby restaurants & other shopping plazas & a Wawa in either direction & cant forget the local hospital! Its come A LONG WAY over the last few years!

Its not a horrible Mall -- though I really dont care much for Malls. I spent waaay too much time in them growing up a Jersey kid. Its well lit (inside and out), and clean. This one has your usual smattering of stores, anchored by Boscovs and JCPenny. FYE has a decent sized store location there -- one of the last brick-n-mortar CD retail places left (not counting the many WalMarts) in the general area. Theres also Viet Bistro -- a cool little Vietnamese place with great smoothies and generally good food. Theres also a BestBuy, but its not connected to the mall proper. I wouldnt suggest going there on a Friday or Saturday night, but any other time should be just as crowded as you would expect a mall to be.

Where is security and why are employees not trained to defuse potentially dangerous situations? My 7 yr old granddaughter was screamed at by someone because she was in this womans way! When my daughter told her not to speak to her child that way this woman threatened to stab and slash my daughter in front of her 7 yr old and her 4 month old infant! In the mall! The Salad Works manager told the woman to leave but he should have called security and the police! Instead after my family was threatened she was on her own to get to her car with 2 small children! Never again will any of our family go there! Unsafe!

For one, the Ulta Store is not wheelchair friendly, which is against the law!. The main aisles are supposed to be no less then 3 feet wide, which they are not! Second, the handbag section in Boscovs is so full of bags, there again, there is no room for someone in a wheelchair, let alone someone with a stroller, to get around!. These stores, that crowd more stuff in then you can look at, should be fined until fixed!.

I like this mall. Its local, not a lot of outside influence except for the obvious stores. Security has a decent, but not overbearing presence. Sad to see JC Penney go (as of this writing). Boscovs is nice. One of the best restaurants in Cumberland County is here: Viet Bistro. Chick Filet is good fast food. Starbucks is fantastic. Regal theater is nice. Local feel. Small scale. Nice.

The CM isnt nearly as big as other malls so you dont have many varieties, One game stop, one movie store, one book store, several stores geared towards certain interests, and many many clothing stores. Despite all of this though it is a great, clean mall and people from all around the area frequently visit to buy things.

Great area ,clean and good employees has a food court and some good Chinese, and pizza restaurants i would totally recommend theatre right behind the area and toys r us right next door its a nice place to shop go for a movie and eat in very few stores but they are mostly the basic ones as for the area shoppers

A small Mall but some promising stores none the less. Considering that not many malls around have an F.Y.E or a Book Store anymore makes this an alright Mall. Aside from that there are not many food options nor anything else of unique interest (except maybe the mini museum nearby the now closed down JCPenny).

This place us okay but the kids foot locker doesnt have all of the lebrons i was hoping for along with foot locker footaction and champs sports but the stores are good along with the rest of the stores in the mall. This is why i am rating this as a three star rating mall.

Grateful for what it does have because it used to be worse. Theres always a store closing or spaces unoccupied. Combination of the area unable to sustain a business and economy and the struggles of a mall (and mall stores) in general. RIP Record Town and Camelot! ☠️

Not a very large mall but pretty decent stores. Traffic getting in mall area is a mess. But I like that there is a variety of things right in the plaza with the mall such as Best Buy, Red lobster, Sprint, Applebees, Home Depot, BJS, Toys R Us and Walmart nearby.
