I remember going there as a little girl back in the mid 90s-2000s, I can tell you its was very alive, they had the water foundation, merry go-round other rides, acrade games, pizza shop, other places to eat they had the food court , its was very noisey, I can tell you, there was always something going on. its was very busy, they re the only mall that doesnt ve the sec floor,, what were the owners of 05. thinking? to get rid of the food court theres nothing to go there for anymore there was also a pet shop they had cats kittens, dog puppies fish other animals, they had a CVS pharmacy, book store, toy store, AERO was there, GAP, OLD were across from each other, why did the owners few years back think its was a good idea to take the freaking good food court away, I ve yet to see a food court, when its going to be one again?? that my ??., JCPENNYs been gone over a year in a half now., that could be used as a food court., please bring in a food court,.

So there are a bunch of vacancies here, but it still has a bunch of good stores. It has a bunch of new stores too like spin me round records and an antique store. It has a skate clothes store and Gymboree and justice. It has auntie Annies hot pretzels and GameStop and all of the major cell phone carriers have stores here too. It is not very busy during the day, but thats actually a good thing because u dont have to hunt for a parking spot. It was built in 1989, and the building itself is in decent shape. It has h&m and Kohls and a sport memorabilia store and Sears and Payless shoes and gnc and hallmark and old Navy and Gertrude hawk chocolate and golds gym and bonton. It was featured in Dan bells dead mall series on YouTube and while his videos are awesome I dont think this mall is that dead. It had 47 stores and restaurants (I counted).

If you want to see what a mall on life support looks like I suggest coming here like I did on Sunday . You will see many for rent signs in the vacant stores around the mall they have some anchor stores Verizon,Victoria Secret and AT&T for example but more empty spaces than actual stores. The atmosphere in this mall is lifeless dim lighting no music no new technology like TV screens that they have in others like Menlo Park Mall,Bridgewater and Short Hills for example. If there was a food court I couldnt find it theres no signs the best thing the owners could do is either push for renovation or just close it. Because its tired, its boring it doesnt feel clean. If you have the chance to go to a better Mall do that

Phillipsburg Mall, NJ is a great Mall with 20 to 30 stores. Some new, some have been there over 20+ years. Its clear the mall has vacant store fronts and some stores with odd business hours. In all the mall is clean and well laid out, thought the gym was a good idea, but the mall should work harder the filter the gym air to the outside and maybe some air freshener in the mall area. I like not having to put sunglass or a coat on each time I move from store to store and not having to pay a parking meter or park three blocks away is always nice.

When I was a kid this mall was great, the management at the time had the not so brilliant idea to remove the food court, the busiest, most awesome part of the mall and fill in the space with an H&M clothing store, stores have slowly left, or moved to other locations. The mall has become outdated and few store that remain dont make any sense. The parking lot has some good options but they dont bring people inside. Several different companies have owned the property without any improvement.

Once quite bustling, this empty shell of consumerism past is now depressing to walk through. The majority of store fronts in this single-story shopping center are closed and vacated, which begs the question: Agree do people around here buy anything? The answer is likely more depressing: Wal-Mart... or online. The only reason you would have to go here is to visit the rather untidy Kohls at the far end, or to stop by the Starbucks just outside its parking lot.

This mall is an unfortunate victim of the times. I used to pass this mall years ago and the lot was always full. This time, after many years not being around the area, we stopped on a Saturday afternoon and the lot was so empty we parked near an entrance. Too many empty storefronts, not much in the way of food offerings, in need of some repair and paint, the mall lacked anything that would tempt our party to return should we find ourselves in the area.

This shopping mall is a DEAD ZONE. You can actually hear tumbleweeds rolling through when you shop here. Most of the outlet stores like FYE and Waldenbooks closed. 20 years ago, this mall had seen better days. Then Wal-Mart came, then Target, then Toys R Us...they drove business away. Theres no reason to shop at the Phillipsburg Mall anymore. It is a depressing shopping experience that is virtually empty, and its living on borrowed time...

Wheres a good land developer when you need one... this place is pretty much abandoned! Really quiet place now. Theyre trying to "make money" by letting people buy flea market tables out in the halls. This is really sad! Everyone remembers this mall when it was in its good times. Also, has anyone noticed (As I am a Web Designer) that the Phillipsburg Malls website is free website service-based? (Weebly). Shocking for such a big location.

In these days when malls and retail stores are dying, this mall is trying different things to make it a place to visit. Biggest addition is the Black Rose Antiques Mall, which has converted an old JCPENNEY store into a series of independent "antiques" booths, which sell everything from depression glass to Star Wars toys. You can come to this mall and find things you cant easily find anywhere else. Its worth a visit.

This place needs a shot of something new, although the H&M is the only thing keeping this building afloat. It was actually the reason I came here, and the inside was deserted! I asked the staff about this, and they actually said it was one of the first H&Ms that were on the East Coast, which is why they were able to stay at PM so long! Best wishes, but theres really nothing to do here!

A number of stores have left and there isnt much left. Usually you would see more people at Starbucks and Chick-fil-A which is by the entrance that at the mall. I believe there are opportunities to revive the business by adding Resturants and other alternatives. Maybe even get an Amazon locker and book store, but as it stands, it is now in a death spiral.

A quiet, clean mall. My family likes it because it is rarely ever crowded. The stores are more limited, so make sure the store you want is there and open. The Hallmark store and Kohls are my main "go to" places. My husband likes the Spin Me Round record store. Looking forward to the new Black Rose antique shop that will open soon.

I like this small mall. Its a shame that it doesnt seem to be doing to well. Im not sure if they still do this but they allow(ed?) people to bring thier leashed dogs into the mall. Each store had their own rules on dogs. It was a great way to socialize a puppy. They have a Gertrude Hawke store! Yum!
