My experience at Stop and Shop on American Legion Drive is never a good one. The employees there are disgruntled, angry nasty people whom ignore you when you ask them questions. The cashiers are the worst of the lot, being snippy in demeanor, not wishing you a "good day" in return and just simply making the experience down right unpleasant. I am putting one cashier on BLAST, "Anabel", you are a miserable human being whom is apparently not happy with your Check Out Clerk status. Either change professions or come to terms with your position. I rather wait on a line that is 6 people deep then to subject myself to your lack of simple care and interest in what you do for a living. Often I drive out of my way to Trader Joes on 17 just to avoid this negative shopping experience.

I am totally annoyed with the service I received when I placed my deli kiosk order. After about 20 minutes of walking the aisles to make my selection, I realized my deli order number wasnt called. So I walked to the deli counter and saw that it wasnt even started. What made my angry was that the deli wasnt busy and then I had to wait while other customers were served. When I asked about my order, I was told he was working on it and it seemed that he worked even slower because he knew I was waiting for it and was starting to get annoyed. And, by the way, the other deli person I saw was nowhere to be found at this time. I intend to write an email regarding the poor service as well.

Has everything including organic whole food, fresh seafood, exotic produce, multiple ethnic specialties, and household goods organized in well-labeled easy-to-access aisles. Allows you to scan your own selections as you shop, bag them as you go, and then check out in less than a minute. Website (or weekly email) allows you to browse sales flyer, add bargains to your shopping list, then print it out in department order. Fresh deli sliced to order, or if you know what you want, use touch screen instead of waiting on line. Cell phone beeps when order is ready to pick up. Cant beat Stop and Shop!

The best part about this store is the bakery. The woman who makes the cakes is a genius. I have had two birthday cakes made and they were both delicious and beautiful. I didnt like any of the designs offered and she made something custom based on what I wanted both times. Simply awesome!! The lower rating is because you must MUST check the expiration date on everything you buy at this store. They regularly leave expired food on the shelves. Can be pricey but if you shop sales and use the app for coupons you can get pretty good deals.

Just your average Stop & Shop nothing bad, but nothing special about this location. The only thing that was different from other locations was they seemed a bit under staffed. With the self check out I was out of there quick.

Large kosher section and in-store kosher bakery. No fresh kosher meat or chicken anymore but they still carry packaged kosher cheese and some kosher deli. Stay away from the self checkout scanners. They rarely work.

Overall a good experience but, be careful there are long lines at specific times like any other store. I believe Stop & Shop has it all at some of the best prices around.

Nice place to shop, lots of variety, health section, kosher section. Staff always helpful. Open late :)
