I ignored the owners demeanor. She is very snippy with her comments. She is very loud - Neither here nor there. I bought a gorgeous bridal gown. There was 1 small hook on the back, so, of course, once bustled, the hook ripped right off. Gowns are quite heavy, so luckily we were given giant safety pins at the reception. My train was hanging over my arm most of the night. My bridesmaids shoes that I brought there to be dyed were lost. We ordered 5 tuxedos & there was a problem with ALL 5! My best man told Erlina that his pants were too short when he tried the tux on in the dressing room. Erlina grabbed the pants, pulled them down & said "No their not!" My husbands jacket sleeves were too short, etc., etc., etc. I paid a lot of money for a lot of aggrevation. There is a lovely saleswoman there, who is an absolute doll. I try not to let peoples personalities sway me because everyone has a bad day from time to time, but Erlina Villa is an arrogant woman. I was in the area with my mother-in-law & wanted to try my gown on for her. The saleswoman had to quickly sneak it off of the manaquin , put me in it & get it back on the manequin before Erlina found out, because she said that Erlina didnt like brides coming in to try on their gowns once theyve already made their purchase. Beautiful gowns can be purchased anywhere. I am a very easy-going person advising brides not to aggrevate themselves. Go elsewhere in order to avoid a bad experience somewhere along the line. Oh, before I forget - this really bothered me. I was waiting for my first fitting & watched a very pretty girl try on her bridesmaid gown for her 1st fitting. She was a big girl. Erlina tore her apart because the dress was too snug. The girl was embarrassed & said she didnt understand what happened. Erline turned around & said "You got fatter, thats what happened". There is NO EXCUSE to ever treat another human being so badly. I have never written a review in my life, but I will not tolerate bad behavior, especially coming from a business owner who I am shelling out a lot of money to.

Awful, despicable, rude service. I took my dress to Villa bridal for them to do only the bustle. First off, the woman was not listening to what I wanted. After an hour, we finally decides how it would be. She wanted to charge me $150 for three loops. I left the shop feeling uncomfortable about leaving my dress there. That night I looked at reviews online. You can see from the multitude of horrible reviews that I was concerned. Plus my mother in law to be told me all the women in town knew that place was a total rip-off. I went to get my dress the next morning at opening. She did nothing but cut a few threads and wanted to charge me $50. I said, but you did nothing! She said what about th hour I spent with you yesterday? So apparently now youre charged for consultation! Im sorry but if this woman cared about her reputation maybe she would not treat her patrons in this way. Cops were called...I ended up paying the $50, and she can shove it for all I care. Im sooooooo glad I got my dress back -- before that woman got her hands on it. She doesnt care about het brides or their experience, which was clear from her snappy attitude from the beginning. I know the economy is rough, but reviews like this arent doing anything for her reputation. I just wish I had read these reviews before I went there. DONT GO TO VILLA BRIDAL- you will be disappointed.

I purchased my wedding gown from Macys ( BIG MISTAKE!) and ultimately wound up purchasing my reception dress and having all my alterations for both dresses done at Villas. If I had known about them earlier I am sure I would have purchased a wedding gown there as well they have a huge selection in the store. I cant say enough about the level of service and quality I experienced here. I had major alterations and customizations made to both dresses that other stores (MACYS) very rudely refused to do; including: a 360 degree complicated bustle to my wedding gown (for dancing!) seams let out, and a halter added to the reception gown ..just to name a few. Both the owner and sales woman never batted an eye to my somewhat different requests and not only executed them perfectly but in only TWO weeks! I was amazed at the speed and quality. Additionally, the saleswoman there is an absolute DOLL..so kind and attentive, and the owner who did all the alterations is not only extremely skilled, but even stayed late to accommodate my work schedule and to finish fitting me in my wedding gown one night. I recommend Villas Bridal to anyone looking for that perfect special occasion dress!

My best friend dropped her dress off there to get busseled for her wedding. She told her 160.00 for 3 loops. The next day when she told me the story I told her to pick up her dress immediatly and do not go there. She asked me to pick up the dress so I did. When I got there she told me she already started the dress. That was a lie. I told her to go get it then if she did. She told me to come back later. I said no and insisted sh get it now. She web downstairs for 5 minutes and cut loops and came back up and said, see I said I started it. I told her I wasnt stupid she did that just now. I said give me the dress now and she wouldnt give it to me. I argued with her till she gave it to me and said you pay me for what I did. I said no. She then said call the police then so I did. My friend then came to get her dress and she locked the door and said you are not leaving my store. Are you kidding, shes holding us hostage? Finally the cops made her give us the dress and we left. She was so nasty to us and I do NOT recomend anyone ever go there. Shes a rip off a liar and not someone anyone should have to deal with. Especially if cops are involved!!!!!!

Please do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this horrible business. I took Erlinas word that my wedding dress alterations will be ready on time, and here I am, the night before the ceremony, the store closed, the answering machines on, AND NO WEDDING GOWN. I have been calling them for three days and I have gotten a bunch of lies. I can not believe that they have not even given me a phone call to give me any information. And my suspicion, after reading all the reviews (How I wish I had read it before) is that the worst is yet to come, because I paid my dress in full, plus alterations (these at the outrageous rate of US$200), and getting back my money will be a second nightmare. What do I put on TOMORROW? A wedding is supposed to be a happy experience. This is unforgivable and unbelievable. To the unfortunates that have been already mistreated like me: please keep advising others about this fraud and file a claim at the Better Business Bureau. To the ones that are considering this business and are still on time: Spare yourself being mistreated. No other business can be worse than Villa Bridal.
