Why is it that Harbor Freight never has the items they put on sale in stock? Im still waiting for that welder that was on sale, almost a year now. The generator I have 30 discount coupons for never seems to exist in any store, and the idiots working there have no idea when they will be back in stock. Theyll take my 99 cents for 5000 pencils, but they dont seem to want my 500 dollars for one generator. Theyll suck you in for the cheap nit picking items, but the real items never seem to be in stock. Three weeks...... And still no generators, what a fu(k!n joke! Now going on four weeks. Five weeks, and I went to the New Jersey store, they had eight of them...... As for the stores here on Long Island, still nothing...... This place is bound for an imminent fall, just like US General....

My dad went there for a special tool and forgot his phone there (Verizon used the tracking and showed it was in the store). My dad wasnt sure exactly where in the store it was left. My mom called to ask if they could take a look for it in the parking lot and all they said was no they couldnt because everyone was busy. Okay...even if everyone was busy on a register or helping a customer, the appropriate response would have been for them to say that they would have the next available person look at soon as possible and then call to let us know. Thats very poor customer service and just plain rude. If I were the employee, I would have dropped what I was doing and looked for it.

This place is great, had everything in needed, prices were very competitive. Will definitely go again. I stopped in for a set of wrenches. The staff guided me to the aisle and helped me pick out what I needed.
