The place has a "weird vibe" with uncomfortable seats. The food was "pretty good" but the staff was mediocre and not very friendly. The resturant was not crowded and the waitress took our order then bought it out and returned with the check, never did she ask how we were doing, how was the food, do you want anything else...... A robot could have taken her place. Friendly and prompt staffing is key to any local independent restaurant and if things dont improve with staffing customers will not return. I do plan to go back and give it another try and I will report back....... Hopefully in the meantime the owner hires some professional staff to make the dining experience better.

The Dockside is a true hidden gem in Hunterdon County. The food is some of the best seafood I have every had. The menu choices are great and the stuff is always friendly, professional and very knowledgeable of the selections. I have never had a bad anything when we have gone here. I would highly recommend the Dockside Market & Grill to anyone. As far as price spot on for great seafood and get what you pay for. Great Job and Kudos the the staff and owners

Everyone needs to have a Dockside Market & Grill in their neighborhood. The food here was cooked beautifully; a real eye pleaser; and whether taking something out from the Market, or eating in at the "grill"; there is complimentary wifi and amazing service. I plan to stop in here every time Im in town. Its a great place to escape to when you feel like you need to get away and go "Dockside".

Wanted to grab some food late on a Friday evening and discovered this place on the map close to where we were. Very happy we decided to stop in because this place is excellent. The wait staff was fantastic, the food delicious. Appetizers were flavorful and fresh, the almond crusted grouper was moist and exceptional. Highly recommend this place and will certainly go back.

Excellent meal, our first time there. Sat outside and had an excellent (and large) seafood cobb salad. Also had the soup special which was butternut squash and pumpkin which was particularly delicious. Husband had the almond crusted flounder and nephew had cedar plank salmon. Everything was top notch, fresh, nicely presented, and tasty. We will return.

Yum! I think this was the best seafood that Ive had away from the ocean. I had grilled salmon with some cajun spices on a cedar plank. The flavor was so good. My son wanted fish and chips which wasnt on the menu, but they were able to accommodate. I think the location is a little odd, but its a really cute place and the food is wonderful.

Atmosphere the only reason to give it a 1 star. Lobster Pot Pie had not a trace of lobster. Over-priced fish served in non-creative or enjoyable pairings. I can throw bagged grocery store dipping carrots on a plate and steam them at home. Nice place really wanted to like it but I will not return. Not worth the $$$.

Very good experience, there were flies inside on one occasion so we moved outside. The food was very good and reasonably priced. We always try and order what was fresh caught, normally you cant go wrong work that.

Took out 2 apps for me and my mom to split and it came to 24$ when I got it it was only 3 jumbo coconut shrimp and only like 4 seafood pot stickers.....barely enough for one person....BUT THE FOOD IS GOOD THERE...

The crew at Dockside couldnt have been nicer. My 4 year old loves the salmon and my wife and I love the edamane. The food remains a great value for the quality. Check it out as an alternative in town.

Oysters..Awesome, Seafood chowder..best Ive ever had, Tuna..Excellent! Only been there twice so far but it is my new favorite seafood restaurant. Dockside please keep doing what your doing.

Its different! Its like no other! Its not a chain and youll fall in love with the fresh seafood and eating here will make you feel as if you were on the dockside ;)

Great food. We treat ourselves every once in a while cause it can get pricey if your a big eater like myself. I can easily spend $30 on myself. But worth every penny.
