The store is very clean and laid out well. The selection is very good. You are sure to come across the game you want. Be it for PS3,PS2, PS1, Atari, almost anything. They do have events where alot of people come in, and Im sure alot of people sell games at these events. However my last few trips have been incredibly disappointing, the service being the real killer. A few months to a year ago, I bought NIGHTS Into Dreams for the Sega Saturn. The game did not work after a beating the first boss. I understand this not being noticed, as it appears to work fine. However, since then I have had more issues. I bought Space Channel 5 and Hydro Thunder, both for Sega Dreamcast. Space Channel 5 outright did not work. When I went to return it, the woman at the counter said it was not the game, but my console is dying. Every other game has worked before, and since. The real kicker is Hydro Thunder. When I opened the case, Inside was not the game, but an Office Depot CD-R that was labeled "NBA Showtime on NBC." It was just various sound samples of some NBA game. There is NO WAY that can get through without someone noticing. In total I spent $25 on those two games. When I came back for returning the games, the woman only gave me $10 back. She took back Space Channel 5, she threw Hydro Thunder straight into the trash. I should have gotten the whole amount back, as one game did not work, and one was out right not even a game. She also had an attitude during the whole process. I cant say Im very pleased. Ive had better luck with Ebay and Amazon, as well as generally better prices, so I will probably stick there for my gaming purchases. It is a shame because I use to visit Digital Press a good amount. My brother even bought a PS3 and a Gamecube from the store. He thought about returning to get an Xbox 360, I told him to just go to Gamestop. Closer locations, and (at least at my local Gamestop,) a much friendlier staff.

While not quite worth driving out an hour for like I once did, Digital Press is an overall solid store for anyone whos looking for classic video games. From my experiences, the prices and selection are hit-or-miss. For example, sometimes youll find a rare game or peripheral for far below average price (such as when I got a tremendous value on an expansion for the 2600 and a CIB game to go with it) while other times youll be paying a tad more than the average going price (such as when I bought a $3 Genesis title for $10). Though in most cases, youll be paying average prices. Their games, systems, and peripherals are also tested and in good condition. I havent once had an issue with anything Ive purchased from here. Aside from that, the staff is helpful, the store is clean and laid out nicely (despite being small), and they also have a few arcade cabinets at the front of the store. Generally, its a pretty good store; just not an amazing one. tl;dr: A good store with a somewhat limited selection; sometimes you can score a great deal, but most times youll be paying typical price. If youre heading out here to relive some nostalgia (or add to your collection), you probably wont be disappointed. 4/5 Stars.

Been buying small things from here for a few years, but decided to purchase one of their complete retro console packs a few days ago. Got an NES, all the AV/Power cables, an original controller, and 2 games (Mario 1/Duck Hunt/Track Meet and Bases Loaded). After a good amount of testing, I came to the conclusion that the 72 pin connector was at the end of its life, and brough the console back to replace / refund. Much to my surprise, they repaired it on the spot! Its rediculous to offer 30 day replacement warranties on old consoles, but Digital Press really went out of their way to make sure I was happy. I would gladly purchase another retro console pack, and will continue to shop here and recommend it to friends. Also, that Neo Geo arcade machine.

If youre looking for a game that you cant seem to find in local stores such as game stop.. look no further! Digital Press will have that game plus many more that you didnt even know you were looking for. They have a great selection of games for every system, old and new. They hold game nights where people come play on both systems and computers and they have old school games such as pac-man ready to go! This place is awesome and youll end up spending more time than you thought in there. You will be greeted by great staff who know their stuff and are very helpful. Trust me, this place rocks!! Go check them out.

This place is amazing. I took my Xbox 360 slim in for repair a few weeks ago. I had the "Open Tray" problem. The staff here is EXTREMELY friendly. I couldnt believe how much they understood the problems I was having. I spent $90 on my repair, but hell, they replaced the whole disk drive for me. I got my xbox back with 1-2 weeks of the day I dropped it off in their store, and now my xbox works phenomenally. This should be the GO-TO place for anyone without a warranty. When I went to the store to drop it off, I noticed just how many games/gaming systems they have. Its very impressive.

It would be an amazing store if not for the staff. I tried to ask questions about some retro games and they were very snobbish and dismissive. I ended up just buying everything cheaper online just because I didnt want to help their fill paychecks. I have worked in the customer service industry and I would have been fired for acting this way regularly to customers. And from reading other reviews I see that it was not just me. To the owner, your employees acting this way just sends customers elsewhere. I love the store itself but something must be done about your unfriendly staff.

I never had an issue with the staff... The prices on their trade-ins are very good as long as you do your research on how much its worth and respectfully negotiate a price, you just have to be assertive(not aggressive theres a difference :P). The staff isnt like hello, can I help you today though, so I can see how people can be bothered by that. I personally like the staff not asking me if I need help because I want to look around. This store has a lot of games for a decent price. Oh and this store is oddly pretty big, it looks so tiny on the outside. Weird right?

Good store. Mediocre Staff. They have a great selection with good prices. But the staff is extremely snobbish. When youre just there on an day without an event you dont feel welcome unless youre already a regular. However they do have a great amount of games and even some really rare items at a reasonable rate. Plus when they have events (Like an appearance by The Angry Video Game Nerd) theyre usually alright. However their Nava events are a waste of time unless youre able to devote months to becoming a fixture because theyre so unfriendly to new faces.
