This is the only pet shop thats truly convenient to my home, so Im glad that I like it as much as I do. The people have always been friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Their fish selection never got to be as large or good as theyd initially advertised, but I dont suppose I can greatly fault them for that. For such a small store, its jam-packed with a great variety of just about everything you could need for most kinds of animals--all organized, clean, and easy to find. Their small-animal livestock seem happy and healthy, and oftentimes a larger animal will be there to greet you, walking about freely (whether a dog or a turtle!) Prices are generally fair, but can be high for some items, so just watch out. The food brands they carry are mainly very rare and uncommon ones, most of which are quite healthy and high-quality. I have refused to buy a couple of the edible and dental products Ive found there because they were made in China and contained undesirable ingredients. However, while I dont feel they ought to even carry such harmful items, it is up to the customer to make sound judgments regarding what to purchase--as in any store.

I have been a loyal customer to Animal Crackers since their first location and unfortunately this place has changed drastically since they moved. For starters, the new location is a much larger and nicer place but the inside of this store is more disgusting and messy than the old one. Especially since they stopped selling live animals. The store is gradually starting to look like a sloppy warehouse with all the boxes piled up on the racks. The owner used to be full of knowledge and a pleasure to talk to but that has also changed. The one time I needed one on one help I went to her and not only did I feel rushed but she walked away mid-conversation to answer her cellphone and to my disbelief she never came back. I usually dont go out of my way to complain but being that I have given this place multiple chances since first noticing its time to speak up so they can hopefully work on changing. Luckily for us customers, there are a few knowledgeable associates there to chat and help us with our four-legged family members.

Not such a great experience. I am very upset with Animal Crackers. I have been going to their new location since it has opened. I used to love going here, it was on my way home from work and it was convenient for me to get my dogs treats and food. Just recently things havent been the same. My dog is very picky and every time i find a treat that she loves, they no longer carry it or have it in stock and it has happened multiple times. Im upset im going to other stores that will be able to keep my dogs favourite treats in stock. I wanted to ask the owner as to why she doesnt have the treats any more and she was very rude to me with out an answer and just walked away from me to answer her cell phone like she didnt care about her customers and never came back to me. This store needs new management its very upsetting to be treated like that; and its upsetting that i have to go out of my way to find the treats for my dog again that she loved.

The new location has wide aisles, so it is not a problem when I bring my 110lb Shepherd into the store. The staff is great---they accommodate our needs with a smile, and are very knowledgeable about pet health and nutrition. They carry only the premium brands of pet food. I have been going to this store since 2008. I recommend Animal Crackers to all my pet-loving friends. It is worth the trip.

This is hands down the Best Pet store around. I have been buying my food here for a little over a year now, they always have what you need in stock, and they reward their loyal customers with discounts over time. I would recommend this store and only this store to anyone who loves their dog as much as i do. I feed my dog only holistic food and their options are absolutely endless.

Ive gotten a beautiful dwarf bunny, a few hamsters, fish, pet supplies and food. They are the best! They are friendly, knowledgable and helpful. I used to live right in back of their store and would often just visit but I moved 20+ miles away and yet I prefer to get my things there. I used to bring my bunny, ferret and now more often my baby blue pit.... Keep up the great work!

They have a nice shop with a good selection and very good quality of food. I buy my dog food here because its good quality and a fair price. I can no longer get it for the price I used to because my previous store shut down. I cant really afford to purchase anything else from here though, their treats and their toys are too much for my budget.

Best prices on food for my dogs. They only sell GOOD pet foods! Also, the owner knows about dog and cat food and helps people with pets who have special needs. Their pet food prices are cheaper than Petco or Petsmart. Sells live bugs, food for small animals/dog/cat/bird, pet toys and other supplies. Bonus: They special-order.

The best holistic pet store in North Jersey!! I have been going there for about 3 years now. The staff is very friendly and prices (for the product) are unbeatable. If you want quality service and outstanding food for your pets, this place rocks.
