I dropped my dog off for a haircut and asked for a short hair cut, he is a Shih Tzu, he was not matted or was his hair in a bad condition in any way. We give him a short cut every beginning of summer to help him stay cool. When my husband picked him up he seem fine and even got a report card that read: My grommer says..... 1. My coat was in excellent condition. A+ I was a little angel! Proof that his coat was not an issue to cut. Anyway, I noticed after he got home that he could not sit correctly and that he would try to lick his bottom, when I investigated further, I found that his skin had been shaved off too. He has very pink skin under his black hair, but this was red, almost like a rug burn on skin. That was not the only spot, after that, I was where they cut so close to his skin that the skin began to turn red as well. I called them to let them know and to find out if he had been a problem, but they simply said, that he was "Alergic to the Shaver". No Apology was offered or any follow up phone calls to make sure he was ok. I was told to put some oitment on him. I would know if my dog was "Alergic" and if he was why would I put him through something like that????!!!! I ran into another disatisfied customer of the Wagging tail at the beach, he explained he is here for the summer and dropped his dog off to get a hair cut and the same thing happened to his dog. Hope more people write up reviews. Wagging tail, it does not take much to simply apologize!!!!!
