My experience was awful at Colonial in Salem NH. I have to say that I brought a friend of mine there last year, (upon learning there was a Trek dealer near us) to get some noises the braking system was making repaired. After he pays the bill and takes the bike, to our surprise the problem was identical and still there. He called and addressed the issue, brought the bike back and got it back in worst condition. I just bought my first Trek Fuel EX5 from there just a few days ago. Horrible customer experience upon picking it up. Given I was there 20 mins prior to closing, but i wasnt the only customer in there nor the last. Went back to the store to pickup some accessories and their sales team is horrible, no recommendations were made at all. I had through sift through the store, and every time I asked a question I was bothering the employee. My wife went with me to pickup the bike and she was the first to be displeased. My brother walks in there Monday morning to check out bikes and no one attends him. Called the Portsmouth store because no one was Answering the Salem store for a price on some parts and the Manager tells me to call the Salem store??? Is this how "some"customers are treated? Or most??? Colonial not knowing that selling me a bike more than likely means theyll sell another 4-5 units, this wont be happening. My brother is going to Goodales. A couple others to Landrys in Boston. Landrys has exceptional customer service! Hope this helps someone else, as their staff isnt enthused to be working. Blessings!

I bought my first mountain bike (Trek) at Colonial Bicycle Company in Salem, NH, a year ago. I have had an amazing year with the bike and at this store. They have always been incredibly helpful with the bike, and with anything else I needed or had to learn. (I am totally learning a new sport from scratch and love it.) I just got my free yearly tune-up from them and am ready to enjoy another exciting year! After so much shopping and learning, I realized that nobody, no matter how young or inexperienced should ever settle for less when it comes to getting a bike. Oh, and a department store bike is not a bike! :) Get a real bike, from professionals!

Am an avid 60-year "young" road cyclist, cycled 5,900 miles in 2016, have been enjoying this activity for about 6 years. I purchased my 2015 Trek Silque SLX from Colonial Bicycle and love this bike! But more importantly, having my bike properly maintained is key to me, and the service I receive from Peter Shipulski is terrific! Having a technician I like and can trust means much to me. Peters enthusiasm and attention to detail is wonderful! I picked up my Trek Silque SLX this past weekend, and it looks beautiful! Thank you so much!

Colonial is a predominately Trek shop. They even have a Trek design center if you want to customize all aspects of your new Trek in the store. I have a very technical Trek mountain bike with gas breaks. My rear brake was seized up and I needed a quick repair to make a ride with my buddies within an hour. I walked in with my bike and Pete had the brake in tip top shape in 15 min and I made my ride. The shop looks brand new and the service center looks clean enough to eat off the floor. Great experience all around!

So I got my Stache 7 here. I like the bike - always rode hardtail bikes, starting with Sinister Ridge and on. Now I got this one. Fellas (and Tyler in particular) at Colonial Bicycle are great and willing to go above and beyond. This bike was in Portsmouth, so they got it into Salem store - for my convenience - installed the parts that I wanted - all in one day. Great customer experience! Thanks!

Recently bought a Trek road bike from Colonial Bicycle Company in Salem NH. The service is outstanding. They went the extra mile to make sure the bike was a perfect fit. Any time I stop in or call with Technical questions, they take the time answer my questions and provide coaching. Awesome customer service.

I have purchased a bicycle for my wife here and have taken my bike here two or three times for servicing and repairs. Service is excellent and the technician has been very helpful. Pricing is reasonable and repairs and service were completed on time.

We arrived at the rail trail with a flat tire. Drove to Colonial Bicycle and they immediately took care of the problem. Price was fair and he even recommended a place for lunch. Thanks for getting us back on the road quickly.

Excellent and knowledgeable suppliers of Trek and Bontrager. They really dialed in my Emonda SLR and pay attention to the details that any customer in need is looking to receive.
