My mother bought a suv from here. I am a mechanic and unfortunately I was un able to go with her when she bought the car. She was told it has a 30 day warranty when she bought it. Pete never explained to her that the warranty was "extensive engine and transmission only" so on my free time I took the car to my work and put it on a lift. Immediately I noticed things wrong with the car. First things first, the car came state inspected. But I dont know how this place justified putting a sticker on it when 3 bulbs were out total. License plate light, 1 brake light, one parking light. Then I noticed other things once I got it in the air. The serpentine belt was cracked (not that big of a deal fixed that for less than 20 bucks) and the passenger axle was leaking badly from the axle seal. So I personally called Pete with my findings and he went off to tell me he personally inspected the car himself and that he "doesnt sell junk" he said he would not honor fixing the issues because the warranty sticktly covers extensive engine and transmission. Even after I told him how bad the axle seal was leaking he didnt care and told me I was trying to attack him. I asked him being a state inspector how he could put a sticker on a car that had 3 total bulbs out and he got even more heated. He proceeded to raise his voice like a child and say things like "you dont know you werent there" it could have just been a mis understanding with my mother thinking she had a better warranty, but for him to act like he did over the phone was a complete joke. My mother had to pay $150 to get the axle seal fixed through him. I took the car to my work to do an alingment on it and noticed the control arm was bent on the passenger side. Just with finding all these issues on a $8000 purchase I would never buy a car from here. Poor customer service and attitude, you bring up issues you find and immediately youre attacking them. "they dont sell junk" they just sell stuff that needs a decent amount of work for book value.

I recently bought a SUV from Frank at Auto Authority. He seemed like a nice guy and offered me a good deal.I asked for the car fax and he gave me some paper work on the vehicle that he said was better than carfax. Well, Frankie, youre a liar. I bought the carfax on the vehicle and found that it didnt match what he had given me. Within the next 2 days after bringing the vehicle home, a few things went wrong. On the ride home itself, I noticed there was a light out, okay big deal..Then the next day I had to take apart the door panel to fix the lock only to find the mysterious noise while driving was a tool stuck in the door. THEN I was driving down the road only to hear the passenger side step rail coming in and out as I slowed down and sped up. The last straw was after coming out of town hall frustrated after registering it because they had a hard time due to a "weird VIN" and the entire truck was sitting on the left hand side as the air ride suspension was off. So I called my buddy Frank, told him what was going on. I didnt complain and just asked him what we could do about the suspension..his answer.."Our 30 day warranty is only drive train, and suspension has nothing to do with it." Bought the SUV cash, and within 20 days, it sits in my driveway..useless. Thanks for the help Frank..

Overall Joe and Pete were great. Joe worked very hard to get me financing that fit my budget and was never pushy about purchasing a vehicle. I got the vehicle and got it registered (I live in Massachusetts) and was charged sales tax off of the full purchase price, not the price after my trade, the RMV said it was something to do with Auto Authority and the Massachusetts DoR, not Auto Authoritys fault, but irritating none the less. My next issue (and the reason they lost 1 star) was State Inspection. I failed inspection for Tires and Ball Joints, I get it, it happens with higher mileage vehicles. I called and Pete told me to bring it in on Monday. I was under the impression that I would have the vehicle back on Tuesday, but there was a miscommunication somewhere. I ended up not getting the vehicle back until Thursday, but it is what it is. Overall, I would recommend Auto Authority to anyone looking to not get screwed. The vehicle is solid, in great shape and exactly what I needed. All without being pressured into purchasing. Thanks again Joe and Pete!

I recently bought a car from Auto Authority. I gave a list of vehicle features I was interested in to Pete as well as a price range. After only a week, he contacted me and said he had found a vehicle I may be interested in. When I went to check out the car, it was very low pressure. I never felt the push that I HAD to buy it even though he found it based on my requirements. He went through the car to make sure it was running properly and there were no issues with it. Ive had the Saab 93 for a couple months now and absolutely LOVE it! I have recommended Auto Authority to 3 friends already who are in the market for a vehicle, and will continue to recommend them to anyone else!

I will Tell you I bought A Escalade from Pete and his sales staff And had a Great experiance. The trouble with Reviews is that people that are happy Just keep going back to the same spot and they dont think of doing a review.I bought my truck there and they stood behind it without a question. And they took my car in on trade and gave me what I wanted for the car. Its just sad that people only take the time to write a review if they are mad. So if look at the reviews on here and compare to how many cars they sell I can only say you cant please everyone no matter how hard you try. Thank You guys for the escalade and all your help.

I was able to get a 2009 Hyundai Sonata at Auto Authority of NH with help from the owner, Pete. My old car from a different dealer gave me a lot of headaches and got too unsafe for me to drive. I can say the car I have now is extremely safe and I am happy with the quality of it. Not only am I happy with features, but I am happy with the customer service I experienced. What was the most pleasurable is that everything was simple, from them finding me a car that best suited my needs, to the financing and signing paperwork. I would reccomend auto authority to anyone who is looking for a reliable car.

Great place very friendly staff they dont hound you when youre walking around looking for a vehicle. They let me and my dad take the car for a test drive that was about a mile long. They inspected the car and gave it a sticker and a temporary plate and provided vehicle history of the car and they even give you a warranty when you first buy the car I am very happy with my Volkswagen Jetta Wolfsburg edition and got it for a great price definitely the top used car auto dealer in Derry NH by far I recommend Anyone looking for a used car to come here and check out there inventory
