Michaels tends to have smaller selection but higher quality art supplies than AC Moore does. Michaels prices are much higher, too, though. I went in today with a coupon that was supposed to be 30% off all regularly-priced purchases. The girl rang my items as she warned me that all items that came up on the register screen as "N, M, or P" were "non negotiables" and wouldnt be discounted. I was buying a bunch of acrylic paints and at around 5 bucks a tube, I had calculated out the price I should have paid based on the coupons wording. Nowhere near the paints was there a "sale" sign, and indeed they were NOT on sale. But because they had an "N" on the screen, they did not get the coupon applied to them. So a coupon that should have saved me about 10 dollars, saved me about 2 dollars instead because the only things that were discounted were a few cheap 1 dollar brushes, etc. I would not have gone there if it werent for the coupon, knowing their prices are higher than AC Moore. And now that I know their coupon scam, I dont ever have reason to go there again.

Very disappointing since they changed the store layout - and Ive been hoping theyd change back ever since. Pretty much no good polymer clay sold here. They only carry their own brand, which is very fragile, or Sculpey 3, which is the most fragile type of sculpey. No Premo, no Fimo or other brands. They also have a very small selection of other departments. Very tiny selection of stamps. No more needlefelting. No cross-stitch kits. Paint brushes are always disheveled in the display.

I love this store, its always clean and filled with great craft ideas. I get deals and coupons in my email all the time. I also use this as my stop for birthday gifts for kids or adults. I have a lot of fun just looking around or creatively putting together an idea. The staff is always friendly and willing to help you figure a thing or two out. I recommend and will always return for my crafting supplies.

A perfectly normal Michaels location. The parking here is easy and the staff seem friendly enough. Not a bad location overall for slightly overpriced crafting materials.

Finding what I want tends to be hit or miss. But they appear to have a large scrapbooking supply section, for those who do that.

Arts and crafts place. Good selection. Always big sales. Custom framing is expensive, so only do it if you have a coupon
