Strike one shame on me, strike two shame on Donut Bistro. On a Friday morning a few weeks before my second visit I arrived at this store to get some donuts for work seeing as it is on the way to work and I thought I would try them. NO GLAZED DONUTS or SUGAR COATED. Come on it is obvious that these are a popular donuts as these two shelfs in their display are empty and the rest are full. Yet they had no extras or any being made according to the person helping me. Second visit I thought oh well must of been a fluke I will try them again. Only to find yet again NO GLAZED or SUGAR COATED. I go to work at 720-740am so I no this is a busy time and they SHOULD have enough to supply the demand right? Nope, apparently they cant figure out how to keep a good supply of the most popular selling donuts in their shop readily available to last the morning rush. Bad business if you ask me to be sold out of your best seller this early in the morning and not have a plan to replenish. I will not strike out so I will not be returning, I will go to my usual spot where I can trust the fact that they keep a ready supply of glazed and sugar coated on hand and ready until they sell out around the 9:00-10:00 hour, which I have experienced, and in my opinion is about when business in a donut shop should slow as lunch hour approaches. I hope that Donut Bistro can figure out their business approach and realize that an empty shelf on there display at before 8am in the morning might mean that they are doing something wrong. Long story short if you want some classic glazed donuts from Donut Bistro come early, shoot better set the clock a few hours earlier than usual...

My daughter and I went here for the first time today. The reason Im only giving it a rating of 2 is because the customer service was terrible and the donuts were average. Thankfully they were inexpensive. We walked to the register to place our order, after having stood at the donut display for sometime. There were 3 people standing there. We were the only customers in the shop. There was a woman counting money on the counter and 2 guys just standing there watching her. My daughter and I stood there for a bit without them saying anything to us. With the energy the were giving off I thought they might be closed. So I asked them. Then one of the guys answered no and took our order. It was kind of awkward. I had a bavarian cream filled donut that had one bite that actually had cream. I felt like it was a donut I couldve simply purchased from a grocery store. Given the multitude of other donut shops, needless to say we will not be returning.

I think Im spoiled when it comes to donut shops because so far, I havent found great donuts in Sparks. This place was OK. Its tiny, and not a nice place to sit and eat. There was not a huge selection of donuts, but they were tasty. I would go back if I was in the neighborhood and felt like getting a donut.

Large selection of excellent donuts freshly made every day, friendly and speedy service, extended hours, coffee, milk, frappuccinos, and other drinks if you need em... and good prices to boot. Whats not to like? Ive been here a dozen times already and I guess my donut addiction is locked in tight.

Donuts are good when you can get them. Never open on time and never a good selection. I was told I needed to call before I come in for donuts. Who does that? Im not going to get up and sit on the phone at 4:30 a.m. And wait for them to answer my donut order! Probably better off staying in bed! .

The service is always wonderful and the donuts always good. The only drawback is they run out of the good ones a lot so I wait for fresh ones which is a plus at the same time cause fresh is good. The prices are affordable too. I highly recommend.

The Buttermilk bar is amazing. So are their Crullers. The staff is cool and easygoing. If I can bring a box of blueberry donut holes to work then that always starts the week off right.

Dont go during Mondays and Tuesdays when the owner is running the counter. Shes rude, never has a decent selection. The 2 kids that run the shop later in the week are excellent.
