My family and I have visted this store for the last year looking at all the animals. We played with the puppies, looked at the fish and turtles, and played with the ferrets. It was a nice experience. One of the last times we were in the store we happened to catch the manager, a woman, and asked her how much the ferrets were. She said $200 and if we sign up for their Petland card, we get $50 off. The next time we went in there we were ready to buy the ferret. My boys worked all school year getting straight as to earn it and we were finally going to get it. We picked everything out and at the very end they started to ring everything up. The ferret was $249 then $50 off because of the card thing making it only $200. That was $50 more than what we were quoted by the manager. I asked a worker if he could contact the manager since she is NEVER there and he said no. That because she has so much going on she accidentally quoted us the wrong price. Well she is never in the store so really how much does she have going on??? The guy said all she will do is "Turn to her husband, ask him and he will say $200." What a lovely way to deal with customers. As a side note, my husband and his family raised and bred ferrets for years. The workers there had no clue how to truely take care of the ferrets. They argued with my husband about things like litter training a ferret, whether ferrets are naturally nocturnal, and about giving the little guys baths. I would consider that some of the most basic care routines and they dont even know about it. In our packet of how to take care of a ferret, they gave us the information for a vet that we have to take him to within 5 days of getting him home. I set up the appointment and went in only to find out that the vet that they recommended to us DOESNT EVEN TREAT FERRETS. Im so glad that I didnt pay anything for that visit because it was all of about a minute that the vet spent with us. In an attempt to get my times worth out of the drive over, I asked her what to do if the ferret chokes on its food... she recommended that I call one of the vets she offered to us. REALLY? Overall my experience is that the workers at Petland have no clue on the care of ferrets and have no clue on true customer service. I would not go back. Ever.

This place needs to be shut down and I guess I will be the person to make sure that happens!! Please do not buy a pet from this place. Majority of their pets are sick due to neglect. We purchased an all white Siberian Husky and our family instantly fell in love with him. We came to find out that poor Steve had a parasite that could pass to humans. My kids were affected and also caught the parasite, and it felt like we were going in circles with recovery for Steve because the parasite can live for months in the carpet and he was also being kettle trained, which made it much harder. We had the carpet shampooed twice and the owner agreed to giving us a 100% refund since the condition was so drastic and poor Steve was not getting any better. The lady who sold us the puppy was furious when she found out and had complete commission breathe. She told me according to their store policies that I needed to sign a paper that states I am surrendering the dog. She said "dont worry about it saying we are only giving you 40% refund, the owner is aware of his 100% refund that he agreed to with you and Pawsitive solutions". Stupid me, I signed the paper but trust me, I learned my lesson. They refuse to give me the full refund and now I am still responsible for the financing principle, plus interest charges but no family dog to show for our money. Looks like they got what they wanted, the dog plus OUR MONEY!!! The puppy was over $3000 and now I have financing companies hounding me for money I shouldnt even have to pay back.

LOVE LOVE LOVED our experience at PetLand! We walked in looking for a puppy and walked out in love! The gentleman who helped us was Anthony, I believe, and he was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and very professional. He found us before we even were lookoing for assistance, and asked us what we were looking for, directing us to a few different dogs he felt would meet our needs. He also let us look and play with any puppy we wanted. He was very upfront about pricing and answered any question we had about each individual puppy. We very much fell in love with a Miniature Australian Shepherd and ended up adopting him! The adoptiom process wasnt too long but it was long enough to leave the store prepared and not wondering "well what do I do next?" They set us up with our first bag of food, vitamins, joint powder, glucose supplements, and a coat and skin supplement ALL included in the price. What also came in the price was a microchip for our puppy, a 5 Generarion Pedegree chart showing he was pure bred, a kennel, a stain and odor remover, 3 chew toys, shampoo and conditioner, and a few treats. Anthony explained everything we needed to do and even got us a free physical for our puppy the next day at an Animal Hospital. He went over everything in an easy to understand manner and made sure we were set up with a leash, collar, and food/water bowl. The store seems to be well-maintenanced and clean. VERY pleased with our adoption and would highly recommend PetLand. Thank you Anthony and PetLand!!

If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would have. Rude workers, I asked them if my children could hold a rat, because I was considering purchasing one and the man helping us, flat out told me (the mom) NO! My sons have asked for help and the workers look at him and walk away. They flat act really annoyed with kids. The tall ,black gal is rude too.. She is very arrogant and seems super put out with life. I feel bad, because the Petland in Henderson is sooooo different. Go to the Petland in Henderson-it is much much nicer!!! We have had horrible experiences at the Petland in Las Vegas. :( My kids and I left and have sworn to NEVER EVER go back to Petland Las Vegas. A bunch of young,, sassy, rude, lazy Punks work there. The tall, thin, black, curly haired man was sooooooo rude!!!!! He needs to grow up & get some social skills. I am not sorry that my son knows more than you. Swallow your pride and compliment him on how much he knows, instead of glaring at him while he spoke with you. RUDE

In 2015 I bought an Australian Shepherd that I paid $2600 for and was given AKC paperwork. In July 2017 we had a litter. AKC wont reguster the litter because the dog I bought from Petland Las Vegas is part of the AKC Canine Program and there is no proof of lineage. Their pet solutions gave me numbers for another registry but without his litter number I cant get his lineage and to make it worse the his Dam was an unregistered dog. Im sitting on a litter of 5 now that I cant sale with AKC papers. The only reason I found out was cause AKC rejected my litter paperwork and lots of digging I have now found out why. Petland implies their dogs are AKC registered but what they dont tell you is the registration is for a dog that cant have its bloodline proven. Corporate pawns you off to pet solutions and so does the store! I guess Court is next. Do NOT buy puppies from Petland if you have any plan to breed them or want an AKC registered pet. Bottom line I feel they are committing fraud.
