**VERY BAD EXPERIENCE @ BURLINGTON** My boyfriend and I were shopping at Burlington today when we were falsely accused of shoplifting. I had tried on a bunch of dresses, chose three that I wanted, and walked over to wait outside the mens dressing room so my boyfriend could show me the jeans he was thinking of buying. The loss prevention guard "Darren" follows him in. Before my boyfriend gets to the door where I can see him, the guard tells him to go back and change into his things and get out of the store. My boyfriend responds, "Do you work here? Im trying to show my girlfriend who is right outside the door. My phone and wallet are still inside the dressing room, Im obviously not trying to walk out with these and leave my stuff." He tells him he doesnt care and keeps repeating to my boyfriend that he needs to leave. My boyfriend goes back and changes; they both walk outside and see me standing there. I ask what happened and the man tells me "drop the clothes and get out." Im completely taken aback. My boyfriend tells me hes been wrongly accused of stealing. I ask if I can purchase the clothes I was waiting to buy and he repeats "drop the clothes and get out." He continues to follow us, loudly saying "get out and dont come back" in front of the entire store. It was very, very embarrassing. He was extremely rude the entire time, not listening to either of us, not letting us talk to a manager, and obviously not trying to follow any logic or obvious characteristics of shop lifters, aside from racial stereotypes and bias, considering my boyfriend is darker skinned with long hair. Why would my boyfriend run out of the store with $10 jeans and leave his entire wallet w/ ID, cash, cards, and even a GIFT CARD for Burlington Coat Factory? I called the manager from outside the store and reported these grievances as to not cause a further scene. I asked him to check the cameras. He just said "okay Ill tell the DM, bye." No apology or ounce of humanity. I regret not standing my ground inside the store. Then potentially the police wouldve been called and gone over the facts/footage/logic like an intelligent human being wouldve done, not like some bored storefront security guard who seems to be waiting to pounce on any person he subjectively deems suspicious based on his own bias instead of fact. It is very dangerous to have a store security guard who maintains this kind of mindset. To sum it up, I know theres not much to be done here aside from contacting corporate. So I wanted to write a review letting the community know this place felt HIGHLY UNSAFE and I have never been treated with such disrespect. They had good clothes at decent prices if you dont mind running the risk of being falsely accused, treated as less than human, and embarrassed in front of an entire store. Personally, I refuse to give my money to a company that supports this and hope you will too. **This was at the Craig location in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Got a suit which at first I really liked, I felt like the sleeves were too long but they said I could have it altered. I bought it, but what was weird to me was they folded the pants and put it in a plastic bag, then the jacket with its hanger. My mistake is I accepted the merchandise that way. Over the weekend I ended up just wanting to take it back and exchange it for something I really like. When I came in I had my reciept, suit nicely placed, and explained exactly what I said previously. The lady who helped me said no worries. Well I find a suit I really liked, went to the register, and the cashier flagged the lady who helped me. She said did you try it on? I said yes. Here at the store. Then she asked were wrong with it, I said I just decided its not my style. Then she goes oh ok well you tried it out here and took it home so its yours now. Im like I never wore it. Then she asks but you tried it on here right so technically you wore it and so I cant take it back then she looks at the pants and looks at the bottom and finds a small blemish the size of a small crumb and says the pants are filthy and they wont make any money off the suit so here ya go? Im like lady u guys put it in a bag, meanwhile the cashier is kindly folding the suit I brought in and placing it in, yep a plastic bag. Im like look shes doing it now? So in conclusion I wasnt able to get my money back and look lets say Im in the wrong but their receipts for one make it seem like they will take it no problem at all, and even though I kept my cool the lady who helped me wasted my time coming in saying all was cool find a suit I like to then talk loudly and embarrass me in front of other customers talking to me like Im a kid constantly saying do you understand? I wont be coming here again though they have a wide selecting of clothes I like, I just didnt like how them putting it in a bag wrinkling it up and then knit picking to find anyway possible to avoid exchanging goods was really dishonest.

I had to return a pair of pants that I had previously purchased because I hadnt noticed how expensive they were since I was in a rush when purchasing... & I didnt have any troubles returning the pants!! The lines were a little long for it being a Monday at 2pm but the cashiers were very efficient which made the timing go extremely fast (so fast that I even let the couple behind me go in front of me to purchase their 1or 2 items since I was doing a return). My cashier was so friendly we had a little small talk while she was ringing my return in & getting my cash back for me. Mind you the return went very smoothly because I had my original receipt, tags were still on the item & item was still in the new condition I had purchased it as... I also read their return policy on their website before I even headed down to the store just so I knew the policy & wouldnt create any problems from not knowing their procedures, which helped alot...

I went in there today with my family for last min shopping for an event we had to go to tonight. I thought it was awesome that i found a nice blazer for my son for a good price compare to all the other ones on the rack. When i go to pay for that and other stuff i bought the lady at the register was very polite but tells me she cant sale the blazer to me since it was a 2 piece set and the pants werent attached to it. I didnt care for the pants i was willing to pay for the 2 piece and Just get the blazer but the manager Who didnt even come show her face said she cant sale it i was so mad and disappointed I wont be shopping there anymore they are so unorganized and have clothes all over the floor and wont even sale you what you want what a waste of my time.

Theres always great deals on clothes and shoes here. If I decide to stop by, I come here at night when the lines are still somewhat long, but not ridiculous like during the day. Theyve revamped the lines, so they go faster, which is good, but still a tad long. The workers keep to themselves, and do greet, but customers usually leave such a big mess that they are usually recovering the floor aka cleaning and organizing... But if you do need help with anything they will be friendly and help out. There is a tailor if you need one, which is great. You can usually find some great deals on past season Hugo Boss suits and a few other nice brands.
