Went in to buy items for sale. Completly out of one item and had no clue when a delivery was scheduled. Next item I was charged 1.69/lb. when it was advertised at .97/lb. They had me walk back with an employee to show them the sign that was 12x6 inches big. You could see it 30 yards away. We go back to cashier and I am told that I had to walk over to customer svc to get the price adjusted. Cashier calls the desk. I walk over and a snotty little kid opens up the door and informs me she isnt open until 8am. Its 7:50 mind you. So I stand there. A minute later a woman walks in completely irate due to her cake that was ordered not only not ready. It wasnt even baked. The bakery didnt even have any cakes available. Needless to say the snobby little immediately called for management. After that fiasco I stepped up and mentioned snobby little girls attitude and asked manager if I was supposed to throw a fit fist before snobby girl would actually rectify issues and attempt to provide customer service. Probably wont be back to that store. I vote with my $.

Since the new store in Estrella Mountain is so bad they dont even list it, Ill write this review to whomever gets it. Safeway put this store in (if you can call it that, should have just put in a 7Eleven.). Went in to get a few things as it is the only grocery store up here for us. I was told at the deli that fried chicken 8 piece would be out in about 20 minutes so I waited (the only game in town). I was then told it would be about 15 minutes. Continued to way. Then some rude kid came out a dumped chicken breasts and more or less told me to take or leave. Would have probably left it any as his pimply face didnt look to sanitary. Any I left about $50 worth of items on the floor as I was so upset. Complained to several people that looked like managers but werent. Im sure that was as far as it went. So anyone that wants to do any grocery shopping, I surely wouldnt recommend this store. So if you want to save some time and money, either go to a 7Eleven or take about 10 additional minutes an go the Fryes at Sarival & Yuma.

This is not against Safeway but the Starbucks inside the store. I am tired of the lady there that has no customer service skills. Last time I stood there waiting with no acknowledgment of my existence for 5 minutes as she chatted it up with a Safeway employee. I asked for my Mocha and My wife Latte. Specifically instructed NO FOAM for my wifes latte. I got my Mocha only 3/4 full and my wifes was only 1/2 full. Next time I should ask for a regular size cup and pour it in and ask for a refund for the difference. Why is it that when I go to Dutch Brothers it is always to the rim. Unfortunately the Dutch bros is around 10 miles away so I only pickup when I am in the area. Regardless we will now NEVER go to this Starbucks and therefore unlikely the Safeway because of the poor customer service and not providing a full cup of coffee.

Only reason why Im giving it 3 stars was because of the manager nick he was amazing. His cashier refused to sell me liquor because of my ID being vertical even though its from out of state and then she charged me for it. She had a sour attitude from begging and then in hush hush tones instead of telling me the issue she just said she couldnt sell me it safeway policy.... instead of just telling me the law. But I just wanted to give nick a 5 star review for being so helpful and genuine.

Ask for a honey, citrus mint tea. A sick tea. The "burista" had no idea what he was doing and offered no help in the selection of a tea for soothing a sore throat. He tried to make something but it was absolutely horrible I feel that I could done a better job and I dont even know what Im doing I have to go to another Starbucks to get something that is actually drinkable cuz this tastes like s***

Deli dept. Was a great experience. The deli clerk Emilio was super friendly and professional. He went the extra mile to make sure I was getting what i needed. This is what service is. They are great and the store was clean and everyone was friendly but This Emilio needed a shout out because he had some of the greatest customer service I have experienced. Great job 5 stars!!!

STORE - For the most part its clean, gloomy, and boring.. The Pharmacy hardly ever has any customers.. STAFF - They seem like they dread working there, the same goes for some of the Pharmacy staff... SELECTION - I can tell you this, not as good as Frys.. PRICES - Always going up.. Theyre expensive on products that they have on sale.. OVERALL - Go to Frys.....

A pretty typical Safeway store. I was actually surprised at how quickly we were able to get in and out considering we were there only about 2 hours before the ballgame started, but that was a pleasant surprise. Nice and clean store, about average prices for the area from what little shopping we did while there.

The Produce Dept is so nicely stocked and organized. Always an easy shopping experience. The checkout lines are long. Which a person could be irritated with, but it is a good sign that business is busy. That means pricing is good, the store has good quality items and friendly helpful staff

This store is a real dissapointment We moved from Goodyear and every member of our family would rather drive 20 minutes to the Safeway on Indian School. its obviously a management problem, no one seems to care about the job they are doing! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Typical safeway quality with less than normal selection. Its very small compared to others Ive been to. Its not even a 24 hour store!? People are nice most of the time. If you live west of here spend the extra $.05 in gas and go one more street down to Frys.

Seems like every time I go here the deli is out of something. Today they dont have the right bread, last week theyre outta tomatoes. Maybe someone should tell them theres a WalMart down the street for when they run outta stuff

It seems like all Safeways specialize in customer service. Prices are a tad higher than others stores. Nice beer isle, great bakery. Only grocery store Ill buy fish from. Great floral section. Has a Starbucks.

Great selection. Amazing fresh produce with more than usual organic options. The deli is outstanding and perfectly priced for deals and lunch in a hurry. 5 stars if they bring back self check out.

This safeway is nice; they have good customer service; && will do almost anything to please the customers; like price matching items that are out of stock w/ other items; they have speedy checkout

Nice clean store. Good selection of seafood and meat. The only place we buy our Hamburg. Nice bakery. Good variety of salads and deli meats. Friendly hometown people working to help you.
