I was a customer at this store from 99-2012. I used to think that every Hyvee was a neighborhood/community store but then I moved to Papillion :( Im so glad to be back as a customer at the Fort St Hyvee!! They have a culture of helpfulness, personal attention and community. They have long term employees that welcomed me back! They have new, high school employees that are genuinely happy about being at work... Crazy lol Good deals, good people. I wish all the hyvee were like this one. OH the apartment complex behind them used to be low income & the store manager would offer food that wasnt marked correctly for sale to tenants to distribute! He helped a LOT of kids get healthy meals in the summer back in the early 2000s. That sense of community is a great example of what grocery stores should be!

I love that the store is so bright. I really was able to see everything with ought having to try and turn the label into the light. Everything was very clean. Made me really want to stay and shop instead of hurry through only to remember half way home that I had forgotten what I had originally went there for. Everywhere I looked, there were plenty of staff easily accessible for any assistance or questions or to just simply help get you through check out faster. The parking lot could use a bit of help. As far as the layout, I think it could be done a bit better. I almost got into an accident the handful of times Ive been there. It seems like nobody is able to really see each other until they are right about to smack into you. Very great and friendly store.

A very nice store with attentive employees - But I cannot seem to get a good loaf of bread at any of the Hy-vees here in Omaha. We have been here for a year now coming from a place where they had a Publix. It had the best bakery and none of the bread here compares. Here all the bread is just dense and tasteless....it isnt light at all and doesnt seem to be raised enough before its baked. We were wondering if that is the norm for all the Hy-vees....I have had to make my own just to get a good tasting loaf for toast. We dont buy the stuff that sits on the shelves for 2 months -only bakery bread but we are so disappointed with the bakery dept.s here.

I have one major problem with Hy Vee right now and that is your fuel saver program as you are making almost impossible for senior citizens to get any benefit any more. You either have to buy multiple items to get fuel saver which I can not do or use the card for savings which I am not interested in or spend a lot of money on family of products which I can not afford and I am getting very frustrated. I want to see more coupons offering fuel saver on a certain amount spent. I like Hy Vee but fuel saver is important to remain a customer

Very pleased with this store. Pleasant and great pharmacy staff. Competent people who make an extra effort to help you with your prescriptions, and dealing with doctors offices and insurance. All pharmacy staff have been very helpful and accommodating. Store has a great selection, their cafe/dining area is of top quality, including their menu items and all-you-care-to-eat salad bars and breakfast bars. Free Wi-Fi in store as well. All together a top notch supermarket and pharmacy,

Shopped here for years and will never go back. Items came up wrong prices and the lady at customer service was rude and treated me like i was a lier. She walked through the whole store checking each item that came up wrong. I was right by the way, but what ever happen to the customer is always right? I know were not always right but no need to be treated like im a lier.

The food is good in the dining area, but a little over priced. Also make sure you get what you ordered. Ive had multiple issues with getting the wrong thing, or not enough of what I ordered. Ill order a meal that is supposed to have 3 eggs and 3 strips of bacon, and only get two of each, or they will forget my toast.

The lines can get long at this store just because it does seem that they are under staffed there but no matter what with out a doubt they are always more than willing to help you find something or get something for you regardless of how busy they are!! The store is always clean and organized! The prices are great too!

The wine and spirits section frequently has samples of interesting new libations. According to my wife, their meatman has the thickest steaks and juiciest sausages. I am fond of the fishmongers wares myself. Anyway you like it you really will find a helpful smile down every aisle!

Best place for seafood, fresh fruit and believe it or not Chinese take out! I also normally get my flower arrangements here. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because they are pricey and the fried chicken and potato salad is not good. Most everything else is though.

The staff in all departments is really friendly and helpful. The store has undergone a renovation recently with an enormous new liquor dept, new deli, flowers and customer service area. The only thing I dont like about the store is the parking lot. It can be hard to get out of.

This Hy vee is amazing about taking coupons, even ones they dont have to (doubling and tripling). The managers will price match ANY store and genuinely are there to help you. Ive been to other Hy vees and none have taken more coupons or been as good about price matching.

Hy-Vee has THE best fruit! Very nice people and always willing to help you find items. Clean store as well. And if Im feeling like indulging, they now carry High Society Cheesecake. YUMMM so good! Just the right size as you can buy a variety pack. GREAT for parties too.

Please stop sprinkling sugar on top of the muffins. I love muffins, the muffins are sweet and delicious already but these muffins with sugar crystals all over the tops are really ruined the muffin, Im probably the only person that feels this way but stop it.

I ordered my girlfriend flowers and every hyvee i called didnt have them but when i called the fort store they said they would order them in that day and have them delivered. Cant ask for better satisfaction then that. The flowers looked amazing to.

Im a big fan of Hy-Vee. I like the one at 156th & Maple better, but if this one is closer, then I would definitely use it. They always have the best selection in the liquor store and can order anything you cant find.

Love this HyVee! Always clean, always has great deals. Their customer service is top notch and their fuel saver program saves me $20-$30 a month in gas when I plan my trips around fuel saver items.

Good selection of specialty items like alcohol, beer and natural products. Friendly staff and fresh fruit and vegetables. Ive never managed to get good tasting meat from here though.

The Italian Express @ 108th/Fort Hyvee has a hidden gem. There they have an incredible Tuscano Pizza that is absolutely addicting. And there service is just wonderful.
