I drove 2 hrs to Lincoln,I came with my sons Jordy 11, Robert 9 and my daughter 3, my sons needed to use the restroom and so I sent them to the back Right hand corner of the store to use the restrooms, 8-10 mins later my sons came back to me, very upset! Saying "A lady with blonde hair and round glasses yelled at us" I then asked why? their response was " I (jordy ) came out of the restroom without Bobby (due to him still using the restroom) and a lady wearing a green shirt and apron, asked me " what are you two doing in there??!!" In a very SHARP tone! My 10 year son (jordy) then told her," I was using the restroom as well as my little brother, and we were laughing and making jokes, and the lady was mad at us! I then told her there was alot of pee on the floor in the boys bathroom" She then said to my son " SO WHY DID YOU DO THAT???" (Referring to peeing all over the floor of the mens restroom) My son, SCARED, said "I didnt do that! Why would I do that?!" Then he starting yelling for his brother (robert) to hurry up "we need to find mom!" They then came and found me and told me this story.I then went toward the back of the store to the restrooms with my sons in hand, found a lady, who then called for a manager.I waited for the manager to come and talk to me, her name was Gretchen( not sure on the spelling) I informed her i was EXTREMELY UPSET that an employee had the audacity to accuse my sons of peeing all over a bathroom! She said she would talk to the person in question, I then told her that was NOT good enough, I wanted to speak to the lady that yelled at my children. She went and got the lady. The lady in question then came up to me, in her coat (claiming she was on her way home and thats why she had a coat on) I personally believe it was so I wouldnt see her nametag. I then confronted her about yelling at children! She says QUOTE UNQUOTE " I was JUST joking, it was meant to be funny, theres nothing wrong, I grabbed paper towels and wiped it up! I then told her the version I got from my sons, and she started yelling at me infront of customers, and Gretchen. I told her to stop yelling at me, if anyone had the right to yell it was me, for yelling at my kids! She kept yelling at me, trying to get me to stop talking with made me MORE upset,I asked her if Joanns is SO AGAINST Children in the stores, then you all should post a sign NO CHILDREN ALLOWED if this is the way you want to conduct business. My sons are 11 and 9!! WELL BEYOND the age of peeing everywhere! My kids were and are scared of ever returning to another Joanns store due to this womans UNPROFESSIONAL actions toward my children! NO ONE,and I MEAN No one has the right to yell at a child that is NOT THEIRS! She should have NEVER spoken to my sons without an adult or I present! I asked her name, she gave me the name Ranee, I then turned to Gretchen and asked her if infact her name was really Ranee, she confirmed, Miss Ranee then VERY rudely and spitefully opened her coat and flashed her name tag in my face, saying "SEE!!!!" with a snooty smile! I then looked to Miss Gretchen and asked" So as a manager, how to you feel about her yelling at children over something she can not personally PROVE that MY children peed on the floor?" Gretchen then says" Well, (deep breath) as seeing as she is my boss, I am not okay with her yelling at your kids, but what can I do?" I then turned to Ranee, and asked " So, your the GM, arent you??! "Ranee then Smiled really big and said"Yes I am!" I said" Great!!!!I walked off to the front of the store left my entire chart of shopping behind, and spoke to a gal upfront to get the store information as well as to confirm that these women were really managers.I WILL NEVER I mean NEVER Shop at that store as long as she in employed with your company! She has no right to accuse someone of something unless she personally has seen it or has it on video, and then you should NEVER speak to a minor without another adult or the parent there in person!Lord knows how long that pee was there? Corp is be in contact! PROMISE!

Only big fabric store in town that has a wide variety of fabrics and notions. Knit selection is very poor. Not enough staff to cover store every single time I am there. If they want to complete with web based companies, they seriously need to up their customer service. I am ordering from other companies online ( and I dislike ordering fabric online) more and more because of their constant understaffing issues. Staff is grouchy, hurried and not engaging with the customers because they have to many other things they must get done in the store. Buying fabric should be fun and a happy experience. It is not at this store. Isles are to small for carts to pass each other side by side. Now for the good. Decent selection of fabrics and notions. Restrooms are usually clean. Store is well cleaned, but, it is at the expense of the customer experience. I spend less money and time there than I would if the store had more employees to cover the sales floor. Parking is good, but, there are not enough cart kiosks. Sale prices are average. Get rid of the foo foo like garden stakes and wind chimes and put your focus on fabrics and excellent customer service. You are not Michaels or Hobby Lobby. If I wanted foo foo, I can get it there.

The price and selection of materials are good. Sales are frequent, and the store is fairly neat and well laid out. Its a good store so long as you know what you need and where to find it. Unfortunately, customer service is very hit or miss. Some employees can be friendly and helpful, but others (who have been there for some time) are rude and react to questions with an attitude which implies that you are inconveniencing them by daring to ask. I heard an appalling exchange in the yarn section a few weeks ago when a customer new to crochet was asking for help and the employee was quite short and unhelpful and spoke to the customer as if her questions were stupid and a waste of the employees time. I wouldnt be surprised if the person was discouraged from exploring the craft as a result. By the end of their exchange I was shaking with anger and left the store without buying anything. Obviously its the frequent sales and lack of competition for fabric shops that keep this particular location in business rather than their customer service.

I had HORRIBLE customer service here from not one but two employees I encountered. Very rude, refused to answer simple questions. I work in retail--I know some days you want to help customers and some days its really hard to put on a smile. But the cashier ripped my phone out of my hand when I asked for help signing up for coupons, was incredibly rude to me as I was trying to pay for my purchase, and would not let me try my credit card again after I accidentally cancelled the transaction. I ended up walking out without my items because she refused to let me swipe my card again. What the heck?
