Ok. As a rule, I think customer complaints are generally exaggerated. However in this case, I can assure you there will be no exagguration. This is the first time Ive posted about a business and their practices in and negative light. But to be fair, Ive interacted with Kearney eye Institute a number of times over the last 2 years and the only positive was the contact fitting Lady was nice. Rudeness: I just asked to have my medical records faxed from Kearney eye Institute to Lind eyercare.....the lady on the phone snipped back to me and said "it takes longer than that, were busy here"....to which I believe is a prime example of why Im taking my business elsewhere. I called yesterday morning to do this, and it still wasnt completed when I called after 10am this morning. If faxing medical records takes more then 24 hours to complete no wonder the wait times were so long. Which brings me to my next point. Waits: My exam last time, I waited for well over an hour then had all of 5 minutes with the dr. I know doctors are busy. I can deal with a wait, but waiting for the exam, then a seperate wait for contact fitting, then a third wait in the glasses fitting. In total I was in this facility for nearly 3 hours for an exam and some glasses. Glasses: They didnt give me an explanation of my benefits resulting in me missing out on a second pair of glasses 50% off. When I picked up my frames I asked specifically if I received a second pair discount through my insurance and at that time she said I in fact did, and would have received 50% had I ordered them the same day I ordered my first pair. When I asked if I could get a second pair that day they said no, that it had to be same day as the first pair. I explained no one told me this and asked given this information if they would honor the pricing. They would not. Summary: Maybe after posting just a bit about how irritating their service has been on every outlet of social media I have access to, theyll reevaluate the way they treat their patients. #rude #dissapointed #lostpatients
